God, I love the Demo. So incredibly fun.
But there's one thing that annoys me: you can only crouch. I want to lie down, stay low, get into cover and snipe the shit out of enemies (I sure hope that there is no button to lie down, otherwise this is going to be embarrassing).
To the people who play the demo (and possibly the full game later, as well) on the PS3: add me

It seems some of the achievements (the one where you have to hit an enemy with a biotic skill while he is still affected by a different biotic skill, or the one where you need to set shields or barriers on fire) seem to be glitched...I should have gotten every achievement of this kind by now, but they don't seem to work properly. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but acutally I don't think so.

I am now loving it. I've had moments like you've just described drahkon and it greatly adds to the atmosphere. You actually feel like you're in a warzone.
Yeah that's the thing and the reason why I don't like MW that much. The atmosphere is amazing in BC2. Mainly because you can drive/fly around in vehicles.
Your "killingspree-moment" is great. I just love it when you own an entire squad
Especially with the sniper. People coming around the corner one by one. People dying one by one. I'm getting this on the PS3 since a mate (and I hope another one, as well) will do so, too.
Hope many here will do the same :wink:
Edit: Will we be able to use the things we unlocked in the Demo with the full game?

I might have bought the first Bad Company...but then I've seen this thread.
So I downloaded the Demo. Played it a bit. I couldn't decide whether I should by BC2 or not. Until one moment:
There I was, the lone soldier wandering through the base. Bullets flying into the distance, tanks exploding at far away places and an enemy driving past me in a buggy (or whatever it is called...the first time I've seen one in this game). I looked after him, wishing I was on that thing and cruising around. But then: Boom! I heard another explosion and soon I found out that it was a helictoper being shot down. This machine, destroyed and in flames, crashed onto the buggy and smashed it - and the passenger - immediately into oblivion.
I hadn't had such a moment in gaming in a long time. It was pure fun. I was laughing like hell.
Pre-ordered.

Before I'll get a new loyalty skill I'll finish all the loyalty missions. I want to see what the skills are like.I have arrived at Illium in order to recruit two more members. But there is so much other stuff to do...I can only repeat what others have said: this game is huge (and I probably have seen just a tiny fraction).

So here I am, probably wasted 5000 of my precious Element Zero just to get a new skill. Fucking annyoed because I only got the Loyalty Skill from Zaheed and it sucks arse. Now I need a different loyal member and another 5000 Element Zero.
Enough ranting.
9 hours into the game. It's fun.
After my first playthrough of ME2 I'll start working on getting 1000g in the first game. Then: same procedure with the second one.

This will show you the stats for each armor. To be honest i'm still preferring the Collector armor.

I just can't fucking wait...a shame that I only have one character to load in Mass Effect 2. And I have finished the first game only once. Well, maybe I'll be in for 1000/1000 after completing ME2.

Also, there is a glitched trophy in GoW2, which basically means I have to defeat certain bosses again. Possibly with a new save file.
I've read that the "Boss Batch 3" (I think it was 3) trophy is glitched, but I didn't notice because I defeated those bosses in one session
I've ordererd Darksiders. Hope it arrives on Monday so I have something to play until Mass Effect 2 destroys my social life.

A few of my mates watched it last night and loved it aswell, made for some good crack at work today. Now I just need to decide which console to get it on...
For me it's PS3. I don't know. Pretty much every FF game I played I played on a PS system. So I guess it's tradition.

Easy Platinums?
Yeah. At least without the Challenge Of The Gods and Challenge Of The Titants trophies. They can be quite a pain. I didn't have trouble with them because I already did them a lot with the PS2 versions.
It's a shame there aren't trophies for beating the game on God Mode, Titan Mode respectively.

I seriously can not wait for this. I have seen absolutely no footage of this, so hopefully I can still avoid everything. My only concern is that Bioshock 2 is just round the corner. I may explode from too much excitement.
Same here. Haven't only watched a video about the Vanguard class. So almost no spoilers for me.
The game will arrive just at the start of a weekend which is perfect

Yup yup, changed the controls on manual. Everything. It's great. Tough, but great.
I will never ever play a ranked match with control type set to "any" again. It's just too easy. Too bad that about 95% of the players I encountered do not play with control type set to manual.

Yeah, so...anybody heard? The "Return To Ostagar" dlc has been delayed...shame really because I thought I could download it today and complete it...
Well well, so I just had to play the regular game A "true" expansion is also announced...don't want to post anymore details because I'm a lazy bastard.
It's a shame that I won't be able to finish this game until Mass Effect 2 gets released. That means I'll probably complete my playthrough in 2 or 3 months.
Had to turn down the difficulty because it really is hard on "hard".

The game any good? And what about the plot? I have Tools Of Destruction but I never got around playing it (lent it to a mate) and I know that there is Quest For Booty. Should I play them before I play A Crack in Time?
Just started GoW II since I got the GoW Platinum some time ago. Love this game.

Been playing Fifa a lot today. Seem to get better and better with each match.
Can't force myself into playing PixelJunk Shooters at the moment. Maybe I'll give it a try in some minutes.
Anybody got Hustle Kings? Need some impressions since there is no Demo out (at least I don't recall seeing a Demo of it).

I play weekly with friends for money. Started playing about 4 years ago and love it. Much prefer "real" play instead of on the internet. Internet just doesn't have the same vibe.
Yep, playing with people sitting in front of you just feels better. I used to play FullTilt (not real money, mind you) quite a lot but I got bored...
Had some games the last few weeks. Played with 4-5 mates and it is always lots of fun. 2-4€ entry and there you are: everyone takes it seriously (as much as you can
) and the games can have really amazin moments.I love poker

Is Bomberman worth it? Many people playing the game?
I've downloaded PixelJunk Shooters and Super Stardust HD a few days ago. Man, these games are amazing.
Now I don't know what to play. Need to finish the under-5-hours-run of God Of War to get the platinum but it's actually kind of boring.
Meh, just can't get into playing any of my games.

I know that feeling. Sten disapproves when I'm trying to be nice. Morrigan just seems to be disapproving no matter what I do. And Alistair...well I want do disapprove with him because he sucks.
Just completed the Warden's Keep DLC and I'm on my way to do the Stone Prisoner DLC.
