    Been playing Fifa a lot today. Seem to get better and better with each match. :)

     

    Can't force myself into playing PixelJunk Shooters at the moment. Maybe I'll give it a try in some minutes.

     

    Anybody got Hustle Kings? Need some impressions since there is no Demo out (at least I don't recall seeing a Demo of it).

    I play weekly with friends for money. Started playing about 4 years ago and love it. Much prefer "real" play instead of on the internet. Internet just doesn't have the same vibe.

     

    Yep, playing with people sitting in front of you just feels better. I used to play FullTilt (not real money, mind you) quite a lot but I got bored...

     

    Had some games the last few weeks. Played with 4-5 mates and it is always lots of fun. 2-4€ entry and there you are: everyone takes it seriously (as much as you can :D ) and the games can have really amazin moments.

    Is Bomberman worth it? Many people playing the game?

     

    I've downloaded PixelJunk Shooters and Super Stardust HD a few days ago. Man, these games are amazing.

     

    Now I don't know what to play. Need to finish the under-5-hours-run of God Of War to get the platinum but it's actually kind of boring.

     

    Meh, just can't get into playing any of my games. :D

    I know that feeling. Sten disapproves when I'm trying to be nice. Morrigan just seems to be disapproving no matter what I do. And Alistair...well I want do disapprove with him because he sucks.

     

    Just completed the Warden's Keep DLC and I'm on my way to do the Stone Prisoner DLC.

    I had a hard time getting into it. I started out as a mage but for some reason wa finding it really hard. I restarted as a Rogue and am now loving it. One of those games which has so much to do that its unlikely I'll ever get round to finishing it.

     

    I didnt' find it hard as a Mage, but I like playing as a Rogue more. Just started as one and finished the background quests.

    Can't wait to steal the shit out of everyone and opening a hell of a lot of chests. :D

    I hope it's not a problem to ask this kind of question in this thread:

     

    I'm reading a book ("The Colossal Book of Mathematics") and I'm having a problem with some wording:

     

    The topic is "The Calculus of Finite Differences", I won't go into detail with the exact procedure...

     

    I don't get the following:

     

    "The coefficient of x is obtained by taking half the bottom number from the first number of the middle row."

     

    The first number of the middle row is 8. And half the bottom number from 8 has to be 3.

     

    The problem I have: What is half the bottom number?

     

    I know that the bottom number in a fraction is the denominator. But I just can't figure out what half the bottom number means and how you get 3 as a result...

    I googled it, I tried dictionaries, wikipedia and blah blah.

    To cut it short: I'm not able to translate "half the bottom number" and therefore I'm confused :D (I bet it's simple and embarrassing for me after someone has explained...)

    Still feeling like shit...I feel like there is no improvement in my condition at all. Doctors aren't open today and tomorrow so I'll just have to wait -.-

    The coughing won't stop...the headaches are still there...and the fever just keeps on coming and going... :(

     

    Other than that: yesterday the GoW Collection arrived and it's awesome :D

    I'm ill :sad: probably have the night off work tonight.

     

    You, too? Been ill since Wednesday...haven't slept the last 2 nights due to coughing, fever and having the worst headaches in years :( Feared I had swine flu...but the doc said I don't need to worry.

    Edit: When buying the Harman/Kardon speakers I need cables. Again, I'm a noob, so I gotta ask: which ones? Are there some kind of standard cables I can buy, and can I connect the speakers to the receiver by using those? And do I need special cables to connect those speakers to each other?

    Ok, I might settle for the Harmon Kardon speakers but I want a receiver, as well. My problem: I'm a noob in terms of this.

     

    So I looked up some stuff and found this one:

     

    Onkyo TX-SR507B

    (again in German, I'm sorry...)

     

    My questions:

     

    1) How exactly does this work?

    Can I connect my PS3 and my 360 with an HDMI cable to the receiver?

    And then, do I need to connect my TV (LG LCD) with an HDMI cable to the Onkyo thingy and I can change what the TV shows by using the receiver? (grammar? Oo)

     

    2) What about the sound..I might buy the Harman Kardon speakers I mentioned above. I think I can connect them to the receiver. The only thing I need to do then is connect the PS3 and 360 by using an optical cable (for each of the consoles) with the receiver and I get 5.1 sound from the speakers while playing. Is this right?
