Platinum : peace: "Complete a certain challenge". Wow, thanks for the help Yeah, I might wait, too. I'd like to complete one or two games from my backlog in the next months so the wait won't be that bad.

Switiching between and old action-classic and a relaxing puzzle game might be a good idea.

Reading around the web it looks like this is the best puzzle game ever made... FUCK. Don't like to spend 37€ for a digital copy...but I also don't want to wait for a physical release now that I know the game is awesome...

I have to say it only took me a couple of minutes to get used to the controls. Didn't mind not being able to control the camera with the left stick. What I found much more irritating was the fact that you use X to accelerate and square to break/reverse

Started GTA: Vice City Instant nostaliga. And I feel old... Looked up whether there are missable trophies and there aren't : peace: There is one trophy, however, which should be done immediately after starting a new game. You need $10.000.000 and 1.000.000 points to get the Godfather criminal rating. Easiest method: Get the money with a mission that's available from the start. Done that, I am now sitting at $52 mil Then get to the second island via an exploit and collect 80 hidden packages...well, I may do that today. And after that: shooting at a car with the helicopter you get from collecting the 80 packages for a couple of hours...rubberbanding the R1 button is helpful Not sure if I'll be able to get to the last point today in order to let the grind run during the night. Already looking forward to being done with that trophy and enjoying the game without thinking about trophies. Edit: Urgh, collecting the packages is annoying...but it's late and I'm quite tired. Maybe not the kind of thing you should do when you're almost sleeping

Aaaaaaand there it is. The trophy with the most creative name... "Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Platinum" Great game, I've played it to death on PC 2 years ago. Enjoyed it just as much on PS4. Money well spent. : peace: Time for GTA: Vice City The lady will spend the night and we'll get back to Super Mario 3D World. Basically the only reason why I still have my Wii U... I've looked through my PS4 library and found PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate. I've had it since 2014 (I think) but never really played it...looked up the trophy list to see if it might be fun to get the Platinum and it seems like it could be A couple of online trophies which I have boosted last night, so it's all in singleplayer now. Downloaded the Vita version and may properly start this in a couple of weeks.

Grim Fandango Remastered is completed. Story was good, the rest wasn't really for me. Well, it was free so...

Halfway through Grim Fandango. Not my kind of game, even though I like the occasional point-and-click adventure. Will push through for the Platinum, though. Made good progress with Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. 11 more levels with my Witch Doctor and 160 bounties to go. : peace: As soon as I am done with one of these games I'll start GTA Vice City

Wow, everytime there are news about PS4 sales they are quite impressive : peace: I wonder what the sales will be like in two years from now.

Easily accessible, no confusion as to what you can expect, positive past experiences (e.g. I had my greatest moments in gaming history with PS2 and PS3; so a PS4 that's basically just a more powerful version - it's so much more, but... - was just what I wanted). A lot of my friends think the same about Xbox. I disagree mainly because I think gaming is stagnating.

Hm, that's interesting. Might sway towards San Andreas and get Vice City later this year. But Vice City was the first GTA I have completed...the nostalgia is real. How "big" is Rogue Galaxy? Will it take 50+ hours to beat?

Nevermind. Even after that more-than-a-year-long break I've realised that I've played this way too much. I might go back to that at one point in my life...or not... And now it's time to decide...Rogue Legacy or GTA: Vice City. @Hero\-of\-Time said that the latter has no updated controls, i.e. no method to control the camera with the right stick...this may make my decision easier...however, I'm not sure if I'm in the mood for a big RPG. I'm allowing myself to buy a "new" game as soon as I've wrapped up Rogue Legacy. Did anybody get any of the GTA PS2 re-releases on PS4? I'm tempted to get GTA Vice City. I bloody loved this back in the days (Jesus Christ, it's been almost 14 years...) and am in the mood to play this again. Just wanted to know if the PS2 games do run as great as promised? Gonna be a close one between GTA Vice City and Rogue Galaxy...

May I just chime in with a haven't you people ever heard of closing a god damn door, no? story that happened a year ago? It was E3 time, Sony's conference happened and the next day the lady and I spend time together. I was tired as fuck and she asked me why. Told her it was E3 and that I watched the conference. Her response: "Oh yeah, I watched the news today and they covered it. That virtual reality stuff from Sony sounds kinda cool. And Microsoft seems to have some cool games coming." My girlfriend isn't into gaming. She has a Wii and basically only ever plays when I'm around. She doesn't have a clue about the industry, about games other than Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart and all the games I force her to play with me we play together and yet she heard about PlayStation VR and Microsoft's games because of the press conferences. A couple days later I visited my mom and she asked about virtual reality. She's seen a report on TV about E3, too. Why this post? Because I wanted to give a much more "personal" touch to this discussion. @Ashley got it right:

So, getting the Defense Grid 2 Platinum is slowly turning into a hope for RNGesus to be kind to me... You need at least one augmentation for each tower (there are 9 towers). I have several augmentations for 8 and NONE for the remaining tower... And I keep getting augmentations for those freaking 8 towers... I still need 60 more gold medals on missions, which provides me with 30-40 opportunities to get the desired unlock during regular progress to the Platinum. At least with Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls there is no more RNG involved. I can just sit back, open spotify or listen to GameGrumps in the background and level up my two remaining Characters. : peace: Already thinking about what to play next. I might make a habit of playing two games simultaneously (depending on how complex the games are). I think I'll get Rogue Galaxy, because I always wanted to play this. Then I need a game from my backlog. I will handle Crypt of the Necrodancer like I handled The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth: Play a couple of runs per day. Play the shit out of the game while commuting The Platinum will probably be a long term investment

Everyone who doesn't love FFIX gets a "FUCK YOU" from me. :p Just kidding. FFIX has been my very first Final Fantasy. I bought it on its release day in 2001. I was 11 at that time. Went home, popped the first disc in (OH MY GOD, THERE ARE FOUR DISCS) and was immediately blown away. I didn't understand the mechanics...it was my first JRPG, so all the stats and numbers and words didn't mean anything to me I enjoyed it, though. The music...oh man, the music. Audio Nostalgia. (btw, when I first saw Kuja I thought he was a girl...my first experience with Japanese video game characters ) Would love to play this again...especially with a shiny Platinum to get : peace:

So it's Destiny all over again... This time I won't jump on board day-one.
