It's always refreshing to hear someone who's not a manic depressive singing a Morrisey song.
I think at least one forum member will approve of that choice. Whatever it is, James Dean-Bradfield's packin' some.

Also, I'll be upset if you close the Sexuality Thread.
Why? Now you can have a thread a thread for each letter of the LGBT thread.

Well, what I'm hoping is that, if a month of it goes well I'll be able to replace my usual month of toning with lower weights. I start to lose interest when I'm toning and stray off course. I haven't really got a specific target, I just wanna keep gaining until I feel secure and maintain it, but as you may know that sense of being content doesn't always come :p
You're probably right though, I don't expect rowing to be my one major exercise, but I do want something new in my routine. Maybe my approach is all wrong. Going a full month on one kind of exercise is never fun, so maybe I should shorten it to two weeks. I've just got it into my head that monthly cycles are the way to go. I change my protein supplements monthly, I get paid monthly, i pay my rent monthly, I menstruate monthly.

Everyone keeping up their gyming? I started parkour which means I do both weight training at the gym and bodyweight training. It's working a treat!Just out of curiosity, how does one "start" parkour? Maybe the view on it's changed but a few years back I was under the impression it was a minority thing for daredevils and skater kids. Do they have parkour trainers?
I could use some advice actually, I've been going to the gym regularly for a few months and have balanced daily exercises between cycling for cardio, weights to build (obviously) and swimming for a bit of toning/getting out of the sun. I've been seeing moderate gains but I've pretty much hit a wall and haven't gained anything in a good while.
What my mate's been suggesting is I change up my routine a bit, fair play, I have been doing the same exact routine but with progressively higher weight or reps depending on the month.
What I'm thinking right now is the rowing machine looks like my kind of machine, sort of an all in one dynamo for my cardio and, by the look of the rowing teams, muscular gain, so I'm thinking I'll take a month out of my routine for solely rowing and swimming and see where it gets me. What I'm wondering is if that's actually a feasible route or is there some massive flaw in my plan? I don't wanna look in the mirror next month looking like the hunchback of Notre Dame.

I was meant to be biking from Grimsby to Scotland next month, sadly my bike was stolen , so that appears to be off the cards. Maybe we can do something less ambitious. Walk to Lincoln maybe...

Ignoring my last sarcy post in this thread I actually do think it's a really good idea. Of course certain threads don't recieve enough attention for this to apply, like the music and comic threads, and threads like arab freaks picture thread don't really have a viable alternative (apart from Facebook).
That said, when I look at threads like "Awesome-O-5000" and HWYD and I want to make a thread about something I cower out for fear of being assimilated by the behemoths.
I still won't be making threads though, most things I say are bullshit. Unless it's a thread about bullshit.

According to my knowledge of women (which comes predominantly from watching Friends) they don't. Women like a shoe that makes them suffer apparently.

I recommend simply ragging the dust off daily. You save money and you can do it while you're ragging your teeth.
On another note don't buy toothpaste.

Call me an incredibly fashionable hunk, but where ever I go I wear sandals in the summer. I started this summer with a pair of plimmy's but they completely shredded my feet.

If the desired effect of this experiment was to create a forum full of Stuwii wannabe posts then I declare this a grand success already.

I really hope that was achieved by slowing the game down, otherwise I feel super inadequate right now.

Good lord, thats utter genius. FFS. I thought I would have unchallenged post of the day (funny pet thread)Yeah yeah shameless I know.

Heh, by principle I believe in complete freedom of speech. But in cases such as this, it's hard maintaining that standpoint. But yes, let the discussion move along.
Freedom of speech is fine, it's just a good job there's no freedom of action.

Believe it or not many people have been at the receiving end of the nastier side of the police, just or unjust, and have gained a less than friendly view of them. I know a few people with attitude akin to Moat's, and they're probably the people heralding him as a martyr.
Even so, surely there must be a reason why they think a murderer is a hero? -
And?... .All that jazz?
I really don't get what called for an and.

Comedy Rainbow benefits everyone who watches it. To the open minded it can be entertaining and to the closed minded it gives a sense of undeserved superiority over the author. If I was a doctor I'd be prescribing Comedy Rainbow to everyone with any form of depression.

How tall are you?P.S Tall guys are awesome don't you be thinking otherwise mister!
I'm 6'8/9. I think I crossed the threshold of awesome tall into awkward tall at 6'3 though :p It's never fun to walk into a room and hear people giggling about how big you are.
-
I'm too tall and I'm covered in stretch marks. Sure, they may just be cosmetic issues (and door frame banging issues) but it's still pretty depressing.
-
That was awkward to watch. Didn't know Rez was taking commissions for scriptwriting outside of Comedy Rainbow.

I love it personally. The fact that the 3DS forces the big boys to stop with-holding technology so they can profit can only be a good thing. Not that Nintendo aren't just as bad.
-
It can't be that underrated if we all love it :P

Fark sake, I only just bought a real guitar last week, now everyone's going to learning it and probably doing it better than me. As if most people already can't. Sadface

I'm so glad I operate my life in such a way that I don't have to buy the same console twice.Haha, well I've bought a Dreamcast 3 times before, but for very different reasons why I need to buy another Wii. Sadly food>games nowadays.
I made my first sale on Ebay today

I sold about 100 games on my mates account and didn't realise they bill you for it at the end of the month. That was until my mate told me I owed him about £40 after I had already spent all the wonga. Good times.
