Sadly me and my mum miased Maajid yesterday tho apparently he had good topics(family and health tings interrrupted) - if you do like a good radio listen tho we spent a bit if time listening to Lammy afterwards(didnt call in cos I didnt have enough context for discussion before it was done) but had some interesting calls we caught from listeners about Black History Month and ideas around it. Not enough to bump the topic myself cos I'd have to ask everyone to listen for contexf; but you might appreciate some of it(also shout to the woolwich gent who identifies as irish; bloody love the irish and woolwich is some more recent ends of mine);

bob mate honestly I am just moderating. I hid your post from thread because I said to bring it to visitor walls. Not looking to hide in private happy to have discussions but if you wanna look back in public record I am moderating someone with almost max infractions.
Again happy to have all discussions around this public here on these visitor walls so I am not hiding anything but not within the thread.

Whilst I do think it was a bit OTT in this instance, I think it's come from a certain member constantly posting things that they know to be inflammatory, but no so much that the mods can actually do something about it. This rubs people the wrong way and builds up until outbursts like this.
It's happened before and it'll happen again. It's always the same person involved and it's made this place poisonous.

I can't comment too mich on Goafer's comment but yeah I completrly understand your PoV bob thats why I posted to explain it. As a forum/community mod the PoV is not neccessarily always thread limited - so I can get where you're coming from and how it looks but that's also why I like to try and keep my own moderation open and public and have done since I came about(even if it did cause...uhh...some MILD controversy within the Nintendo sub-forum) because I think it is fair for all to see.
I won't hide anything in telling you this either - when I have forced Ronnie(more than once) into a discussion about the issue still well within the public realm just like this but OUTSIDE of the thread he has ignored it. He ignored PMs. When these discussions were kept open and public in previous instances between me and himself - he subsequently deleted the messages from his own visitor wall. Do not mistake yourself in thinking I have not engaged this in multiple ways literally over multiple years because I very much have. Maybe it reflects one of the most perfect lessons of the whole thread and issue of it all;
It is incredibly difficult for us to judge and evaluate those things that we cannot see. Should we be unable to see them we should admit our blindness and be led by the visions of others - far more rarher than invent our own fantasies and illusions before our eyes to replace the things we cannot see. Again I completely see and take your point(one no doubt shared by others) - but moderation is not as simple as a thread by thtead basis, imo.

Again you don't have to answer. This isn't a mod and punishment question lol - genuinely curious to consider and discuss(because of course I have considerations too) the driving psychology behind it. I don't want you to feel on the spot or as if you're being blamed for doing something though - it happens and we all know it happens; but I'd enjoy you insight if you fancy offering it. I just enjoy human behaviour quite a lot I guess

Yeah MilaGi said you play it quite a bit on PC so I was jokingly thinking we'd coax you over to the PSN side - didn't think it'd actually happen though! Hopefully you get on with on console; having the company will help I imagine! Anyhow I see you're in the whatsapp now so you'll pick us up from there! What else you going for PS4 wise, and what spurred the decision to purchase(other than just the tight black friday deals)?

...it's absolutely cool by me! If you do ever get round to playing any of the games from the series I would actually really really appreciate your opinions on it as a newcomer, even if it's to an aged game!
Interesting to see we're still relevant on searches though - as I said mostly people here are very lovely(Nintendo sub can get heated, I won't lie, hence why I said to deffo get in touch with me/mods if stuff comes up) but really it's a very unique vibe here I've found of all my years on tinternets and forums. Not sure if that's cos we're mostly British/European or what but yeah, once you get settled in I think you'll very much enjoy it. Please don't let anything that happens put you off without talking to us/me though, I know we've had a few incidents here and there that have made people disappear but it's a grand shame for what's largely a very good, well-knit, and loving community. Fairly understandable - tbh if I had to advise people these days I'd probably not, personally, recommend the Wii U unless it was really very close to their tastes. I ended up getting a PS4 in Sept/Oct last year after a long deliberation and seeing what Sony were doing with their business. The irony is that 10-15 years ago I absolutely hated Sony with a passion!! They've really turned themselves around imo tho.
Also I'd have to ask you to enjoy your last few days on the forum, as I will promptly be banning you at 5pm this Friday afternoon for having never played a Zelda game. Absolutely terrible state of affairs!! Zelda's been quite unique over its years, but I don't know how good the last few offerings truly are/were. It's very difficult to be objective about something you've been attached to for so long - but I absolutely respect that people may not like them, and whilst a lot of Ninty people might not feel the same,...
