  1. Sorry about that I messed up my post! Fixed now. xD
  2. Had a quick go - done the first battle, caught a couple of Pokemon, done a Dynamax Adventure (not sure if I was lucky or if you always get it on the first one but I caught :D! After that I saved at Freezington Town. Seems like a decent start and enjoyed it so far (although I've not played it much)! Looking forward to playing the rest of The Crown Tundra.

Q'APLAAAAAAAAAAA! For the first time in my life I have all 240 Blue Coins. But I'm not trading them for Shines after all that. They're MINE now! I had to use a guide/checklist to get them. And even then some of them were frustrating to find. I know it's a bit late since Sunshine is so old, but the Blue Coins are really dumb imo. If they had some kind of hint system and perhaps showing you how many coins are exclusive to specific episodes and I wouldn't complain, but some of them are so hidden and obscure and episode exclusive that it would take forever to find them all, without a guide. Next person's reply: "I found them all in an hour without a guide and I've never even played a video game before!" WELL GOOD FOR YOU!!! xD Anyway, all that's left is the 100 yeller coins and the final battle. Oh and Blue Coins aside, I still think it's a really excellent game!

Alright so I've gotten all Shines in Super Mario Sunshine EXCEPT: - The 24 Blue Coin Shines - The 8 100 Yellow Coin Shines - The final Shine for beating the game I've decided to go for the Blue Coins next to get them out of the way so that I'm not accidentally running into them while I'm collecting 100 Yellow Coins. But, I'm keeping the darn things. I can watch the 120 Shine video on YouTube whenever I want, and after collecting them all I don't wanna get rid of them lol. xD Anyway after that I'll get the Yellers and defeat Bowser.
  5. Super Mario 3D All-Stars (RIP)

Just playing some Super Mario Sunshine. I've competed it a couple of times (minus the Blue Coins, I'm going to get my revenge on them this time lol). Could you always not long jump in it? I don't remember noticing not being able to do that last time I played it. O_o
  6. Super Mario 3D All-Stars (RIP)

I reached 120 on Galaxy yesterday! Never played it before, really enjoyed it a lot. I'm gonna save continuing playing Galaxy for a while now. But I do hope they release Galaxy 2 sometime for Switch.

    Nice one thanks!

Hey all, quick question about Luigi's Mansion 3? Is it a complete single player game? I'm about to buy it but I seem to remember something about it being really designed for two players or something? I'll be playing it on my own and I don't want to buy it if it turns out you can only play it two player or that if you play it single player you only get access to half the levels or something. Any help much appreciatedness!
  9. Super Mario 3D All-Stars (RIP)

Just wondering if other people's interpretation of Galaxy's story ending is the same as mine. I found the cutscenes a tad confusing but I think this is how I see it.
  10. Super Mario 3D All-Stars (RIP)

Alright, I just saw the ending of Galaxy (haven't got EVERY star yet though). Edit Edit: Nvm, I was confused by the ending but I got it now lol. xD Think I'll get back to getting the remaining stars.
  11. Super Mario 3D All-Stars (RIP)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO forced motion controls even with the Pro Controller. D: It's making me use the stupid gyroscope to throw the star bit things, and on the menus. And it's as horrible as ever. Oh well, guess I'll have to get used to it lol. xD Edit: Okay I take it back, turns out I was doing it wrong and the gyroscope controls aren't tooooooo bad. xD
  12. Super Mario 3D All-Stars (RIP)

Yaaay just bought it! Here's a picture of the box: [GAME PURCHASED DIGITALLY] Can't wait to play it, I'll have a quick go after the download and then spend a few hours on it this evening. Edit: Also I had a thought about the timed window thing. Remember how when the original Super Mario All Stars came out it didn't include Super Mario World, and then after a while they released a version that did? Perhaps that's what's going on? Maybe they're going to release a future Super Mario 3D All Stars which includes Odyssey for people who haven't got it yet?
  13. Haha, I know this struggle. A long time ago I spent several hours "training" in FF8, thinking "I swear the enemies are getting stronger". Suffice to say by the end of that day I was being OHKO'd by everything, and I got kinda mad at the game and rage quit for several months. After that I learned how it all worked, went back to it and have always enjoyed subsequent playthroughs, but it took me some time to cool down before forgiving FF8 and reaching that point lol. xD FF6 is kinda similar in a sense, if you level up too much before getting the Espers, you can permanently miss out on stat bonuses that you get only when you have the Espers equipped. I think both games are great, but I've never liked that aspect of them. Levelling up in an RPG should always be a good thing. Well, maybe with a few exceptions like Master Tonberry's "Everyone's Grudge" attack. xD

I hear if you don't pay Microsoft's loan they don't send regular bailiffs, they send Master Chief!

Well I just finished all the missions in Command & Conquer Remastered Collection on normal difficulty. I'm certain I'll want to replay it one day so next time I'll do it on Hard difficulty. Now I just really hope they remaster Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2! I can play the originals through community patches, but even so they're still very crashy/buggy unfortunately, which I guess is just due to them being designed for such an older version of Windows. So hopefully TS and RA2 will get the remaster treatment. The devs have said this one sold well, so hopefully. C&C3 still runs fine and looks pretty modern, so I don't think that needs a Remaster at this point. I'll probably return to Horizon Zero Dawn next. And that'll keep me going until Super Mario Galaxy.
  16. Xbox Series S | X Console Discussion

I won't be buying one anyway, happy with my Switch + PC combo lol, but I do really think these are really great prices for the Series S and X. With the Switch being over 3 years old at this point and being a much less powerful system, I wonder if Nintendo will have to reduce the price to compete? Although, maybe not since Nintendo gaming just kinda seems like "it's own thing" (I don't know if that's a just me thing or if it makes any sense xD). I'm also curious as to the pricing for the PS5 now. Even though I won't be buying a Xbox or PS, I'm still interested and looking forward to more news on this stuff.
  17. Super Mario 3D All-Stars (RIP)

Glad it's selling well. I hope this is like Mario 64 on the DS that has the other characters and other extra stuff, since I never played that. Although I figure not, since they'd wanna advertise that right away.
  18. Your 2020 Gaming Diary

Sooooo half way through Horizon Zero Dawn, the next time I settled down for some gaming, I decided to play one of the missions I'd not done yet in Command & Conquer: Remastered. Well that was a bad idea, it's now been about a week and I haven't played HDZ once since. xD I'm sure I'll return to it at some point though, it is a great game.
  19. Super Mario 3D All-Stars (RIP)

I know many enjoy motion controls, and each to their own, but personally I dislike them so I'm really glad Pro Controller is an option! Perhaps this may also mean that Pro Controller will be an option for Prime Trio if they release that. Then all they need to do is patch Pro Controller into Pokemon Let's Go and so I can finally buy it. xD
  20. Super Mario 3D All-Stars (RIP)

I'm gonna buy digital, wish I'd done that with all my Switch games from the start tbh, saves switching carts. xD Although, hopefully the games are associated with your Nintendo *ACCOUNT* and not the Switch it was purchased on, should the worst happen and my Switch explode.
  21. Super Mario 3D All-Stars (RIP)

AWESOME! I can finally play Galaxy and 3D World!
  22. Apparently Pokemon Home has or is getting a new update which detects hacked Pokemon better. Tbh I've never understood why the hack-checking and people getting banned seems so arbitrary in the first place. A Pokemon either has a valid moveset/catch location/etc or it doesn't. Surely with Nintendo's resources each Pokemon could have a whitelist for movesets/catch locations/etc. They already have this information to some degree otherwise nothing would spawn in-game and your Pokemon wouldn't learn anything when they level up or know what TMs they can learn etc. Just a check on those things whenever a Pokemon is moved/the summary screen is opened/etc and turn the Pokemon into a level 1 Ditto or something. Run the same check on the server whenever someone attempts to put a Pokemon on the GTS/Home/or put up for trade, don't allow it. The only thing I can think of is that creating the database for valid stuff might be a time consuming task even with the data they already have. Maybe that's actually it, and I've answered my own question. xD
  23. Done, aaaaaaaaand done! Thanks for the info!
  24. Your 2020 Gaming Diary

Okay so I'm really enjoying HZD. It's a wonderful game and extremely addictive. However that's in spite of a couple of things. For one, the port it TERRIBLE. I'm not claiming to have the best PC in the world, but it's certainly not a potato. I've turned everything down to minimum and performance is still choppy. Also had some initial crashes which thankfully went away with a reboot. Hopefully the performance will be improved with patches. Gameplay-wise, it's simply not as refined and does not have that Nintendo magic that Breath of the Wild has. I hate saying this because I like to give specific reasons for stuff, but it's been some time since I last played BoTW. This game is brilliant, but BoTW simply hit it better, in terms of movement, crafting, combat, generally interacting with the map and most other stuff. THAT SAID, those are the criticisms. I am genuinely, thoroughly enjoying this game. The story is far superior to BoTW, and the game overall is definitely fun and addictive. I'll definitely be playing this for some time. xD

Just bought Horizon Zero Dawn for PC/Steam. Took cdkeys.com's £30 price lol (£10 off Steam's). It has a Zelda: Breath of the Wild vibe, and the gameplay looks fun from the trailer (although I hope it doesn't throw too much at you at once the menu/stats system looks a tad confusing xD). So I'm looking forward to playing that tomorrow (gotta wait for the download to finish now xD).
