That's amazing! I actually think it would be pretty easy for me to switch to this. I have been skipping breakfast for about 6 years now, i just can't be bothered. Then a few years ago i started skipping lunch too, because making lunch was too much bother, and it was too expensive to be spending 4 or 5 pounds a day buying sandwiches. So i made do with a snack around 11 every day and then eating a huge dinner in the evening. I can see it would be pretty simple to just skip the snack on fast days and then curtail my dinner in the evening. I tried yesterday, and made it through the day fine without eating, i just caved a bit and eat far too much for dinner. I was amazed when Mosely said he lost a stone etc, but was a bit skeptical as he didn't mention what he ate on his food days.....but now i've had confirmation that it works for someone else.....i think i may do it too!

I was reading up about bread because i'm a loser, although keeping bread in the fridge will stop it going mouldy for longer, it actually speeds up the staling process, so you have to make a decision as to whether you want stale bread or non-mouldy bread. However, i think it becomes stale far quicker that it becomes mouldy, so probably best to just get a bread-bin. Egg-wise, i don't really eat a lot of eggs. In fact, the only eggs i eat nowadays tend to be ones cooked in cakes by my girlfriend. I like scrambled and boiled eggs, but fried eggs i'm not that fussed about.

Ok guys, don't scare this one off, she looks like a keeper...

Time to have your mind blown again. If you thought the 'why did the chicken cross the road' revelation was too much, look away now:

Some very friendly food being eaten round here... I read that putting cucumbers in the fridge actually makes them last shorter than if you leave them at room temperature. This goes for lots of other vegetables, and bread too, although that is to do with staleness rather than going bad. Nothing to do with eggs, but when is a thread about cucumbers ever going to come up?

I saw this, it was incredible! I may try it.....see how it does.

Hopefully i'll be able to see both, so i can compare. I doubt they'll bring the HFR version to my town, but if i did get the chance, i think it'd be worth a few pounds out of curiosity.

Oh yeah, and if you could all send me a copy of your photo as well as you do them, so we have all the photos in one place, that'd be swell.

No it must have been somewhere else i read it. Somewhere better.

How about we just get rid of some of the sports. I read that if you got rid of swimming, we'd be in second place ahead of USA. Seriously, who needs swimming when you can row and sail instead? Much faster. Then remove diving and badminton, because 1) without swimming, we would have no need to enter the pool so flashily and 2) fuck badminton. And voila, United Kingdom are number one!

And table tennis and badminton and archery and all the other sports than asia do so well at.

To be honest i don't really understand why we're competing as GB and not UK. (Not that that would matter regarding R. of Ireland) Technically atheletes from Sark etc aren't even from Great Britain.

Alright, well i'll start it off then, and we'll go in the order that people post their interest. Hopefully more people will join in as we go. I've sent a picture to Yvonne.

Well yes, i was going to wait a bit to gauge interest, but i'd be happy to start it off. I think everyone on the same side will work, but i suppose people can be creative if they want to. I might need to plead for help putting it all together in the end, as my video making skillz aren't all that great. Perhaps we should do it like in the other similar games, where we send the photo to the next person rather than posting it in here, just so we don't get two people doing the same photo?

Well i don't think there's any anaesthetic that can numb your whole body to pain while still leaving your mind clear and your body up and about (as far as i know). So it probably has to be taken with a pinch of salt. It's easier to believe the anaesthetic thing than the alien lifeform being inhaled, i think. -
Has anyone ever told you that you look like Michael Underwood? This guy! Congrats on the CBT thought!
-
That doesn't mean it evolved from it. It means it evolved from something that was related to the t-rex.

Well essentially it's a painkiller, so yeah, it would stop him getting hurt as well as feeling his original injuries. I thought of TWINE as well, same sort of thing. -
Gae mynd I toiled? I can't speak any Flemish, but thanks to seven years of Welsh, i'm pretty good at Phlegm'ish! Badoom t'ish!

I think some people are just better with languages than others. I wish i could learn another language, but i think i'm just crappy at it. I did German at school, and was fairly good at it, but i wasn't a natural my any means. I read somewhere that the easiest language to learn if you already know English is Dutch, so @Fierce_LiNk, you're on the right track! :p Also, Dwi'n ddim yn hoffi pysgod.

The problem arises from having something close enough to the original animal to work from. With mammoths you can use elephants. With sheep, you can obviously use sheep. With dinosaurs, you would probably use some reptile close enough in DNA to dinosaurs to start from. The problem though is not just in DNA (as i believe you use the egg from the current creature with the nucleus removed), but you need something that is large enough to lay the actual egg. Seeing as the biggest reptile we currently have is a crocodile, that's presumably the biggest size dinosaur we could theoretically create.
