Oh gawd how I fell for that Windows Marketplace link...
-
Just installed it today, and first impression was actually quite allright! I went to have a walk with a colleague, and we were both running around like idiots to catch a Magikarp haha. AR works good, GPS is accurate, only that battery drain though.
I'll see how it plays in the long run, since as with Miitomo the novelty will wear off. And I also wonder if it can be played free without paying for a long time.
Here's hoping to a more extensive version with normal evolution ways, levelling up by walking for example. And more in depth battling!

I like old Shenron, the flying beetle and black/orange floating guy (who reminds me of Pawniard a bit). Big dislike for fat Pachirisu though. Let's see what they will announce soon!

Well, I was waiting for a valid reason to buy Samus as my first amiibo. The game looks great fun and it can justify me buying Samus!

Did they say when it's coming out? This week?June 30th!

This looks like Zelda meets Final Fantasy Explorers meets Harvest Moon (at least it looks like you have to build your own oasis). I like!

Three new missions have been added for finding zelda icons on the Nintendo E3 site and there's also a bonus secret mission available.Oh, I just found the hidden mission without the help of the interwebz! For who wants it,
it's clicking on the Mii in the treehouse on the Games page.

Not too excited about Rattata 7.0, Pidgey 7.0 (must be the one that was shown in the very first teaser?) and Caterpie 7.0. Battle Royal however looks fun, I hope they make it a bit more prominent than all the other "special" battle styles (like inverse battles and rotation battles).

I can see the comparison with MH @Glen\-i, but still it feels different in this game. In MH at least you win, but don't always get awarded for it. Here it feels that you are not awarded at all. And glad you agree @Hero\-of\-Time, that means I am not the lone ranger () here!
I don't think losing perfect races is particularly random or unfair, it's because of the horse. You wouldn't expect a donkey to win the Grand National no matter how good the jockey, the game even tells you it's better to save your cards and use them for experience if you don't think you have a chance of winning (I'd actually recommend not using them at all while training the horse). It's a bit like wandering off course and running into a high powered enemy in a JRPG, no matter how good you are you won't win. The idea is you keep improving your horses until you can.Obviously it can be frustrating and I can see why a lot of people wouldn't enjoy this game, but at the same time if winning was purely down to how well you played solitaire there really wouldn't be much of a game.
But even with a solid horse in Mature Mode you have the same issue. And on your final remark, luckily it is not only solitaire and quite some insight is involved. Placing your horse, picking up boost cards, not get stuck behind a horse, etc. etc. It has quite some depth for a 7 euro eShop game. But that randomness, THAT RANDOMNESS!

Hold your horses, a belated PCJ review is UP!
I guess a lot of people are going to disagree (at least here on the forums), but I've seen a number of people online having the same issue as I did. Do you guys think you are really in control or do you just cope with the random outcomes sometimes?

Goddammit, I still have so bloody much to do in MH4! Just like I still had much to do in MH3U when 4 came out.

What is the online like in that? Anyone know if it is any good?It is quite allright, except for few people still playing it. But it is cool to play the challenges together (you don't play the campaign but certain parts of the game). Better multiplayer than in The Mercenaries.
But the single player alone is more than enough reason to get this! Back to the old school feel of cramped spaces.

The game provides the questions. Some are quite fun, but also repetitive questions which they ask every week such as: what did you do this weekend?

Grass owl as starter for real! Cool type combo, plus I'm a sucker for owls.
And now we wait...

Anyone with a US version who wants the legendary birds? I got the mail but unfortunately they don't work in the EU game.

Also picked up the Humble Bundle yesterday. Will be fun to play Rhythm Thief and Shantae! And convenient to be able to download to 3DS via the website, instead of typing over all the download codes.

All right, I thought you would lose it if you received it but didn't save. Good to know! Although I have not (yet) gotten into competitive battling or shiny hunting.
-
I know about soft resetting for getting shiny starters or encountered legendaries, but how do you soft reset for a Pokémon you've already got (like your shiny Yveltal or Mew)?

As said by @Ike in the ORAS thread, Hoopa event is live with the serial code HOOPA2016. Got it for X! Is there a way to get the unbound forme in X btw?
Also I just beat the Elite 4, but my main team was a little underleveled (around lv60) so I took the lazy option and beat them with all the lv100 event Pokémon haha. Funny to play this way and my first Hall of Fame team is Xerneas, Yveltal, Jirachi, Mew, Giratina and Celebi. Now onwards to post-game and 100 percent my National Dex!

I've just hit 1000 points, but I am still in doubt if I'm going to spend it on this game. Picross is all right but I'm not the biggest fan, and it is difficult to guess when something else interesting is going to pop up in the rewards. How are your experiences with the actual game?
-
Maybe good to also add the mii name to this thread? I find it hard to know who's who. Mine is Dufniall!
And btw, don't hesitate to like/comment on my question answers, so I can rake in some extra points.

Really? It's lightening quick and smooth for me... You got an old phone?!Really enjoying it, don't know how long it will last though. Needs a community on there. Friended people, I presume on here, but hard to say who's who as names are different, but that's a common problem I guess
Luckily it picked up speed after a couple of plays. First it was taking forever when I completed a mission or tried to connect to friends. Now it runs rather smooth with some seconds of delay. So much better, although it could use some smoothness polishing.
Oh yeah, and sorry for my answers in Dutch for those on my Miitomo! Switched language to English and answer in English which makes much more sense.
