Well as usual I had no interest in buying the new WWE game and now it's coming up to release date I'll probably end up pre ordering it. I'm so weak π

Been watching a few old wrestling clips on YouTube this evening and it's got me full of nostalgia. Kind of tempted to sub to the Network for a bit and rewatch the attitude era in it's entirety.

Great win. So happy that we now have one trophy in the bag for Klopp's final season.

I expect I'll get round to watching season 5 eventually but like with season 4, I'm not in any rush to see it.

Volume 2 omnibus of Ultimate X-Men. Been ages since I've read this run. Trying to save a bit of money at the moment so I've gone back to reading some books digitally. I'll still buy physical omnibus' but it's going to be more limited now to my favourite runs or things like Spider-man & X-Men where I'd like to try and get full runs. Got to admit, it has been quite nice this week being able to read whenever I feel like it instead of having to prepare a space for one of my massive books.

Was really lucky and managed to spot a random restock of Uncanny X-Men Omnibus vol.1 which is out of print at the moment so thatβs another one for the collection.
-
At this point that should be the Xbox slogan

I'd love to see them continue 90s Spider-Man next. I loved that more than X-Men. Great show.

Oh the nostalgia is definitely there. I just wish it didn't look like it had been animated in Flash.
-
That animation looks terrible

My Kindle Scribe has been playing up lately so I needed a new e-reader/note taker. Decided to try finally going outside the Amazon ecosystem and try the Onyx Boox Note 3C. I'm interested to see how well the colours work on it. I know they're much more muted but it'll be nice to have for comics I don't necessarily need in the best format as I'd probably get them as omnibus anyway.

I was originally going to skip this despite liking Chip Zdarsky's writing but I think it was because I'd read the excellent Life Story quite recently and didn't feel the need to buy it again. Decided I wanted it after all for the rest of his stories and basically the end (for now anyway) of Spectacular Spider-Man.

The new anime and manga thread! [Use Spoiler Tags!]

Thinking about picking up the Vinland Saga manga now that the deluxe editions are starting to come out. Anyone read it? -
I was already planning on getting rid of my Xbox before Christmas but finally got around to it today. Not a lot of reasons left to keep it.

Might have to go see that, always had a soft spot for Phantom Menace.

I started reading that last year after it was getting a lot of buzz. Didn't get too far into it but I need to go back to it at some point. -

I thought it was fine. Nothing amazing but a good list of games. -

Asking people to wishlist upcoming games is fairly common these days, especially on steam so I'm not surprised its being used on consoles as well. -
I'm happy to do stuff alone and can enjoy the peace and quiet sometimes. I don't necessarily get a chance to often though, living in a remote area when you don't drive and have very little public transport means its hard to just pop out when I fancy doing something. I've been very lucky over the years that Goafer has been such a good friend and offered me so many lifts which means we tend to go a lot of places together. I was saving for a solo holiday to Tokyo before the pandemic so I would like to get back to doing things alone again but as I'm currently trying to put money aside to move to somewhere a bit more active its going to have to be cheap. Did want to take up hiking last year bit once again that's hard to do when you can't get to the locations π
