  1. Metal Gear Touch

But there is no i+i, infact there is only one "i" at all.
  2. Metal Gear Touch

The page it took me to when I clicked your link said something about Famitsu not allowing linking from neogaf, so to copy paste it.
  3. Metal Gear Touch

Well, here's my insignificant thoughts, in the form of a slightly edited response to someone else on a different forum. My bet is Ac!d on a portable, or a 360 version tbh. Nothing in that besides the "i" really has any semblance to the Wii. Green has been Xbox's color(at least it seems that way), idk what Sony or Nintendo are really, probably black/blue and white respectively. As much as I'd like some well done Action Stealth epics on my Wii, I doubt it's going to happen. unless they pull a Twin Snakes and give us some remakes with updated controls instead of Graphics.....which doesnt go with the series. About the poor english, it could be aluding to the original. "I feel asleep" perhaps an original remake or original spin-off, further supporting this is it says "A next Metal Gear is" the series did begin as Metal Gear and not Metal Gear Solid.
  4. Should be fine, but I'm not positive. I don't follow audio too much.
  5. How was your day?

With enough RAM vista is fine, although it likes to take more than it needs.... Anywho, is is Advent a laptop or a netbook? I was under the impression that 6 cells were standard on laptops?
  6. Blu-Ray without HD TV?

Samsung isn't a bad brand...well imo Better contrast is a TV to TV basis, 720p or 1080p. Better Color is in the same boat as contrast. Better Connections? I'm not sure what you mean by this, do you mean like HDMI or Pc connections? Either way, a TV to TV basis again. Better Motion handling, that's dependant on the refresh rate/response rate. Any plasma can handle highspeed, early LCDs pixelated. Current LCDs are much faster to combat pixelation in highspeed scenes. Better Details, well your right here, seeing as how 1080p is over twice the size of 720p. It's just harder to see those differences on a small screen. Better Extras? Like connections idk what you mean here, and can't even make assumptions this time.
  7. Blur on new TV, normal or not?

It doesn't sound like lag at all.
  8. Blu-Ray without HD TV?

Actually as most sources will say anything under 40" and your not going to see the added bonus of 1080p over 720p.
  9. How was your day?

Sheesh, that's like what an inch of snow? No one here would bat an eye at that.
  10. Blu-Ray without HD TV?

1366x768 is 720p. It's the new standard resolution for 720p, as I heard it this is due to 1366x768 being easier to acheive than 1280x720 on a LCD screen. The only modern laptops that don't have "HD" screens are ultraportables and netbooks that usually have 1024x768(or something similar), which is still higher than SD or ED.
  11. Rate the last film you saw

yea......I guess that's your thing seeing as how that post is in Parenthesis with no need of them at all.
  12. Rate the last film you saw

I've just never heard ergo ipso, nor seen ergo spelt urgo. I've heard ipso facto though.
  13. Rate the last film you saw

ergo? ipso facto? Anyways, I agree William H. Macy is made of win. Sam Neill isn't too bad either.
  14. Blur on new TV, normal or not?

6ms is plenty fast, response times aren't the main issue, it's refresh rates.....or was I think most LCDs refresh plenty fast now. Even when they don't it's pixelation and not bluring. Is it in-game motion blur that you perhaps never noticed before going HD? Blur has become very very common in most games.
  15. How was your day?

Well, tonight me and a few mates went to a Hookah Bar. It was pretty cool actually, except during my first hit someone made me laugh which caused much coughing. For those that don't know what a Hookah is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hookah Oh, and / nando / talking about a mouse reminds me that, a humane mouse trap is not humane in the winter....
  16. Rate the last film you saw

The Princess Bride It has everything but the sci-fi. 10/10
  17. Mizuguchi Game: QJ

Only ever played Meteos(didn't care for) and E4(Love unconditionally). I'll have to keep an eye on this. Oh and iirc E3/E4 are based off of a free downloadable game called Every Extend, idk that Mizuguchi is the actual creator, so much as he furthered the series beyond it's simple origins.
  18. Rate the last film you saw

D: Those crazy people, I put subtitles on whenever I can, english or not.
  19. Black Wii

You can always try the alternative Of course, idk anything about their shipping, you'd probably have to try and find a more local similar site.
  20. Morel Orel A overinterpretation of the bible by a youth. This particular episode was about removing all pleasure from his life to show devotion to God. In doing so he found that devotion to god gave him pleasure(wet dreams), so he became a masochist. Need I say more? 8/10, The show is hilarious but only 15 minutes long
  21. Help me choose a TV!

ahhh. Interesting, here in the US analog will be done in Febuary 09. Right now they're pushing people to get converter boxes to change an analog signal into digital so that antennas and whatnot still work. Right now we can get HD channels over the antenna even. Thanks though.
  22. Help me choose a TV!

White is probably considered to be a more distracting color than black, silver, even red. I don't I've ever really seen a white TV to be truthful. Oh and that TV isn't really out of date, it's just not 1080p is all, everything else seems normal. I have a quick question of my own, what exactly is freeview?
  23. Help me choose a TV!

Yes, both! And Cathod Ray Tubes.
  24. Help me choose a TV!

Everyone remember though, CRTs did it first
  25. Help me choose a TV!

I'm a bit late to this thread, but oh well. Quick bit about contrast ratios for future knowledge. A contrast ratio is basically just the difference from the whitest white to the blackest black. There are two kinds of CR also, Static Contrast Ratio and Dynamic Contrast Ratio. SCR is what a TV can display at any one time, while DCR is more of a simulated experience. A DCR of 1K:1 is close to 2500:1. Newer Samsungs and Plasma TVs are now displaying 1M:1 DCR, and for the last few years Plasmas had much better CRs than even an LCDs DCR. None of that really matters though since you've already made a choice. Besides, think of it this way the majority of PC Monitors only have a CR of around 600-1000:1 if your lucky some go higher.
