I played this at GAMEfest, with the classic and modern variations of Green Hill Zone and City Escape available. My friends and I were doing coverage of the event for a blog we're working on, and we managed to get footage of the game. Forget what I said yesterday, the game did turn up in the end. I had a quick go on it last night, and loved what I've played so far! I haven't had much chance to play it though, as I stopped and my friend's last night and stayed over. My mates aren't too keen on it however, as they don't like the controls, which they find makes it difficult. Personally, I see nothing wrong with them...

At least you lucky sods get to play it! I did the stupid thing and decided to change the delivery address to my workplace, and didn't realise how shit the post is around here. It didn't turn up. I now have to wait till Tuesday, since this weekend is a bank holiday. ARRRRGGHHHH!!!! :angry::weep:

However, to me the art style, presentation and game mechanics feel a lot like Borderlands. Just look at the first, second and fourth screenshots, the level's style is almost exactly like some areas in Borderlands!! Plus the entire "S.M.A.R.T" movement system (where you hold down a button/key to move seamlessly over terrain) is just a glorified action button, where have I seen that before? *CoughPrototypecough!!* That said, this game doesn't look terrible, I just don't think it'll be the revolution it promises to be. But I'm sure some of you will be interested in this. I'll certainly try it, before I can judge it entirely. What do you guys think?

Hi folks, cheers for the tips on the MicroSD card a while back, it really did help! Sorry for not replying sooner. However, I'm stuck with a major problem... A few weeks back, the screen on my HTC Desire was smashed when I dropped it (after some idiot ran into me by accident.) It's now impossible to use, as the screen is completely messed up. I'm now stuck with an ancient Nokia. I have third party insurance with a company called Life Style Group, which is part of an extra feature of my bank account. I contacted them about the issue, but because I didn't contact them within 48 hours of the incident (one of thier bullshit "policies"), they have declined my claim. I never even knew about this stupid policy, as I never got the welcome pack! To add more insult to injury, they also declined an appeal and I have no insurance with my network provider. What should I do? I'm too poor to afford a new phone. Thanks if anyone can help!

My HTC Desire's battery is starting to get weak; it runs-down to half full after only a short ammount of internet usage. Plus I like to use it as a music player these days, as it's easier than carrying tons of different items with me (which is why I'm selling my Archos 5 for £120 on the bargains board [/shameless plug].) I've found a battery replacement that boasts double the battery life of the standard battery. However, I don't know wether to trust it or not.
