    At least Shadow Complex is cheaper than expected. Is 'Splosion Man the one made by someone (Daft?)'s brother? Or is that the other one?

     

    As for the others, I don't really care. Monkey Island for 800 sounds nice.

     

    Splosion man is developed by twisted pixel who developed the maw. Can't wait for that game, thought the maw was brilliant

    Yeah but what other traditional JRPG are so good this gen? Plenty of opportunity for others no one delivered.

     

    Sub genres and alternative RPG are good though.

     

    All depends on personal opinion. Lost Odyssey was pretty damn awesome imo but not much else has really hit me as 'brilliant' this gen yet.

     

    I'm not really sure why, I'm just not very hyped for this either, even though I want to be...it's just not doing it. Then again I haven't been excited for a final fantasy since X and I didn't think too highly of XII so that could be why :/

    Sonic 3&K is miles ahead of all the other sonic games; speed, story, alternate passages, the best music the series had...its perfect :) but yeah, don't know why they haven't put it up on either XBLA or even the Wii one..i guess it's because Sonic 2 sold the most so they just stopped there. I wouldn't be surprised if we never see it tbh.

     

    I agree, sonic 2 was probably my least favourite of the originals even though alot of people seem to think it was better than the first by far, but tbh i still prefer the first over 2! Yeah the fact sonic 3 and knuckles was just so long and the story and everything was just brilliant I think is what makes it my favourite. Its a shame but I don't see them putting it on there either and if they do they'll probably put both games on seperately. Its a shame because I'd buy it instantly!

    Ah achievements, how I love thee. Decided to play Sonic 2 for the first time and got the ones for completing the game in under 1 hour, getting all emeralds, becoming super sonic, staying as him for 60 seconds AND doing chemical plant in under 45 seconds all in 1 sitting :) Was well proud of myself, considering it's my least favourite sonic game.

     

    Also, got round to setting up my 360 with the 40" HD set I won and WOW, gears looks just amazing <3 Never thought it would be this good but honestly, this and bioshock are just sensational!

     

    They really need to put sonic 3 and knuckles on XBLA, thats my fav my favourite one by far and I'd love to play through it again with achievements, even if I own it twice all ready :indeed:

    Anyway, got my reading ticket too! Spent 2 hours attempting to get one, I was on the phone to ticketmaster on hold for an hour and 15 minutes and then the call got cut off >_<. Wanted to get a early bird pass but they sold out before I could get one and I dont fancy paying £40 odd off ebay for one and dont fancy supporting touts.

    Im looking to finally get an Xbox in the next couple of weeks so was wondering if anyone could answer these questions for me:

     

    The cheapest I've found an xbox premium for is £215 at shopto.net, does anyone know if anywhere else does cheaper? (Its pretty cheap anyway but gotta pay for driving lessons also so im a bit tight at the moment :smile:)

     

    And would anyone recommend getting the elite over the premium? Some of my mates have been saying ill need the extra space but some are saying I wont so am unsure on what one to get.

     

    EDIT: Sorry third question also: Can anyone recommend some games? Im getting Call Of Duty 4 and Halo 3 at some point but im quite into RPGs and platform and adventure games too.
