  1. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Wonder if they overlooked the fact that Eevee has Baton Pass when designing this Z-Move and it just got one because of it's popularity as a Pokemon? I sometimes suspect that The Pokemon Company is having a say in some of the designs going into Sun/Moon and that it's purely for marketing reasons.
  2. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Oh look, a rugby monkey. Matches up with what the Chinese leak said, this only strengthens my hopes on there being a dolphin Pokemon. Also gives the internet their Harambe... ...looks also like Lycanroc is pure Rock type no matter which form it is so the only difference seems to be it's learnset. We've also pretty much got confirmation that it's version exclusive and I can see difficulty in trying to get the Sun form, so I'll probably just stick with the Night form and name my Rockruff Oki, because Lycanroc's night form reminds me of Oki from Okami. Also Eevee's Z-Move looks insane, not to mention crazy powerful/broken. x2 to all your stats?
  3. Metroid Prime: Federation Force (3DS)

Playing you all right now. Mission 6 is an interesting one imo, though really used to single player. EDIT: Good games all, not quite sure why Mission 8 took so long to finish though, we got 7 pods down which was more than we needed and yet at the end we were getting ambushed by Space Pirates. Not quite sure what the Japanese player's intention was unless it was to get first pick of the Mods.
  4. Metroid Prime: Federation Force (3DS)

Need a major hand with Mission 9. Anyone unlocked that mission and/or completed it? There's too much going on in that mission for just one person to handle. Failing that I might give others a help here.
  5. Pokémon Sun/Moon

OK then, new Ultra Beast confirmed...
  6. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Pokemon Generations looks infinitely better than the upcoming Sun/Moon anime anyway. I think this image basically describes everyone's reactions to it's announcement.
  7. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Regarding the home console front, Game Freak may not have much of a choice. If the NX replaces both the Wii U and the 3DS then there's only really one platform that they would be allowed to develop Pokemon on unless they sever ties with Nintendo and make Pokemon multiplatform. That said Game Freak have been allowed to develop other games for other platforms but when it comes to Pokemon multiple companies share the rights to this, the key one being the fact that Nintendo were the ones who set up The Pokemon Company and I can't see them selling the whole company on given the amount of money that the franchise makes.
  8. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Bit disappointed to hear that the evolutions are version exclusive by the sounds of it. I kind of like the Sun version better but talking with my brother he was more keen on getting Sun than Moon and I was going to get Moon on the basis of liking Lunalaa more (even though I don't use the cover legendaries anymore, I used Yveltal in Y about maybe less than 10 times and didn't switch him into the party to take out Lysandre) and also because we've always got different versions from each other since he started buying the series in Gen 3. Oh well, Moon version may be such a radical evolution for Rockruff but it may also be the one that is more likely to change it to a dual type. Unless they do it so that the Sun version is Rock/Fairy and the Moon version is Rock/Dark. If it learns Play Rough through level up (seems possible since it's a wolf after all) then it could be a real dragon slayer if its attack stat is any good.
  9. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Actually no, I didn't make it clear but I understood the joke.
  10. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Noticed that the new Rockruff evo has been spelt differently from different places. Seems to be a bit of a split on whether it's Lugarugan or Rugarugan. Serebii's got it down as Lugarugan but there are a lot of other claims that it's actually Rugarugan. Probably doesn't matter too much though because Rockruff got a name change for over here so I'm presuming Lugarugan/Rugarugan will also get one.
  11. Pokémon Sun/Moon

I'm going to be honest, I think I misremembered UB01 as UB40 at one point. Perhaps UB40 will be the final boss of Pokemon Sun/Moon and have 9999 HP which requires an entire team of 6 Pokemon just to take down. On another note, as someone who has wanted to use a Rockruff on his team for a while now I'm not sure about which form I want now. Wasn't entirely sure about the werewolf motif but I do like both designs and feel that the Sun one is the natural evolution of Rockruff... though since I'm playing Moon it's probably more likely that I'll get the Moon one. Was originally going to nickname my Rockruff Toby Fox but really the whole wolf motif means that names like "Wolf Link" or "Amaterasu" would be more appropriate depending on the gender. For context, I'm intending to nickname my entire team after characters from other video games series, so Rowlet is Kaepora from the Zelda series, a female Rockruff would be Amaterasu from Okami, Bewear would be Tediz, the killer teddy bears from Conker's Bad Fur Day, Alolan Raichu would be Tachigami (bit of a stretch but that is the mouse god from Okami, might reconsider) and Salandit I'm a bit undecided on but if it has a komodo dragon evolution then I would probably name Komodo Joe from the Crash Bandicoot series. If the dolphin Pokemon is true then I would probably use that and call it Ecco. As of right now I know I want a Water type as my 6th team member but not the biggest fan of Wishiwashi, Pyukumuku, Wimpod or Bruxish.
  12. Pokémon Sun/Moon

The much anticipated Corocoro leaks have just gone up, here are Rockruffs evos, the split Evo theory is true by the looks of it: Big thanks to @Serebii of course.
  13. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Corocoro due to leak over the next few days and they claim to be revealing Rockruff's evolution. An image from the new Manga surfaced and the Rockruff in that appears to be wearing a Ghost Z-Crystal. Also, considering the werewolf links and tying it in with Hawaii then I think the evolution kight be based off this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaupe That would be pretty cool. If it becomes Rock/Ghost then having a Rock type that removes one of it's common weaknesses, albeit gaining two different ones, is going to make for am interesting Pokemon. I don't think we'very ever had a Rock/Ghost yet.
  14. Metroid Prime: Federation Force (3DS)

Tried to fight Sawken in single player.... ...suffice to say I have yet to beat him. That insta-kill attack is fatal if you're the only player.
  15. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Alolan Form Oak confirmed as Samson Oak. I wonder if any Alolan evolutions will be related towards him. I know it's not the greatest of designs but I'm thinking of using the Alolan Raichu on my team in Moon and of course, normally Pikachu evolves through Thunder Stone. So if you used a Thunderstone on a Pikachu in Sun/Moon would it evolve into an Alolan Raichu? The unique Z-Move and part Psychic type has me interested in having one, plus I regret trading my Raichu in LeafGreen for an Electrode
  16. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon has had final bosses which aren't Pokemon so it wouldn't be an entirely new concept and the Mystery Dungeon games use the same type matchup system as the main games do along with a variation of the battle mechanics.
  17. Metroid Prime: Federation Force (3DS)

More likely that it will tell Nintendo that people aren't interested in Metroid anymore rather than actually listening to what the general concensus among fans is. Just completed mission 5 myself, probably my least favourite mission so far as although it introduced the turrets it was a very short mission and the "boss" in the mission turned out to be a cakewalk with the turret. The escape sequence wasn't quite what I expected either.
  18. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Japanese trailer, this shows off quite a bit more about what the English trailer did
  19. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Lusamine looks suspiciously like Lillie's mother to me... Also, pretty sure Type Null isn't an Ultra Beast. Odd choice for a new Pokemon name but then again I suppose so is Tapu Koko. Particularly interested in the fact that the Totem Pokemon differ per game. Wonder what takes the place oF Lurantis in the other version? The Chinese leak also predicted that time would flow differently depending on each version. That leak aside from a few minor details is looking rather legit now.
  20. Metroid Prime: Federation Force (3DS)

PLOT TWIST: The internet's most hated game is actually pretty good. Just got the game today and played the first mission. Already there are some Metroid tropes like the forshadowing of what's to come, like this for instance: and the game definately feels like a Metroid game so far, right down to being able to suck up powerups with the Charge Beam. Obviously though the levels are quite linear and really big for just one player. There was a surprise at the end of the first mission though after the boss had been defeated:
  21. Pokémon Sun/Moon

The fact that it only seems to be Gen I Pokemon getting Alolan forms looks like it rules out the possibility of an Alolan Alomomola happening...
  22. Pokémon Sun/Moon

I honestly thought the crab was Water/Fightning at first, didn't even notice originally that it was pure Fighting type until someone pointed it out to me. Some more creepy Pokedex entries coming our way for the sandcastle Pokemon by the looks of it. Also Bewear's pre-evo is called Stufful and is even has a tage on the back of it like an actual teddy bear. It also doesn't like being hugged... then again if you can breed them from Bewear then that is perfectly understandable...
  23. Pokémon Sun/Moon

    This made me laugh...
  24. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Greninja died to Blast Burn despite it not being very effective AND only taking two hits from Charizard during the whole match before the finisher, not to mention the fact that Greninja was using the super charged, super flashy, super powerful Water Shuriken which looked like it would take out Charizard and yet it was Greninja who fainted instead. So yeah, Crit Hax. You have to give credit to the writers though, they did get people's hopes up. Maybe they did have the intention for him to win it too but that was denied by the Pokemon Company who probably stood their feet down on it. On a more relevant note to Sun/Moon, the new Pokemon they revealed today looks pretty interesting, first non-legendary, non-Mega Fire/Dragon Pokemon and its name made me think of the Pokemon spoof on Youtube where the break had a mock "Who's that Pokemon" to which the answer was Arnold. Given this one is based off the Terminator, you can guess how I came to that connection. Also good to get a look at Battle Royale again. I can't remember what the limits are for each person, but I think a Battle Royale with full teams of 6 for all four players would be pretty awesome. Sadly I think they cut down on the amount of Pokemon you are allowed to use per person in the mode.
  25. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Nope... Crit Hax against a Charizard. And he was so close too... people are mad over this because of the way in which its been handled...
