Morgn Freeman does that...thats probably why he narrates almost every film in existence! Watched Nightmare Before Christmas the other day and I love that film 10/10!!!

I can deal with the usual items, e.g. socks, but mis-aimed humour, e.g. yodeling goats, seem to be what I mostly get! I was just wondering if anyone else got something close to being that useless:wink:

Anyone got a real dud this year, or any year for that matter? I know this topic might sound harsh but I though it would be fun! Last year I got a yodeling goat...it was so embarrassing, I had to fake so hard appreciating it, it hurt!

I always expect to be dissapointed by people but at the same time I always have cautious optimism. Over the past couple years I've felt isolated simply because I would make an effort with friends around but they wouldn't recipricate to anywhere near the same degree, and so I felt kind of neglected and so I just accepted this as a personality fault I had. Now I've started Uni and have a different group of friends and things have changed for the better at the moment, and hopefuly from now on! Ulitmatly I now don't expect anything from anyone around me any more, if something needs to be done I will do it myself simply, quoting House 'Everybody lies.' This probab;y doesn't make much sense at all, its quite tricky to explain...In the end I try not to depend on other people unless I have to, but then again I'm still I'm still trying to figure all this crap out.

The first one sucked...in my opinion! This one looks promising and I hope it delivers but the title Rise of the Silver Surfer suggests they might deviate from the original story and just ignore Galactus completely...I might be wrong though! The Japan Centre (downstairs) on Piccadilly has the best Sushi in London! Another awesome place to eat Japanese food is a place called Zipangu, just off Leicester Square! Both places have absolutly amazing food and its really cheap!

5 hours every day...mainly Zelda...trying to finish it before uni starts! I also play WiiSports and Gunstar Heroes! I'm not really addicted (its only really Zelda that pushes up the time I spend on it!) but I wouldn't say that was a bad thing because I can imagine playing during the week when I have university when with previous consoles I would normally wait till the weekend! Basically Wii is easier...if that makes sense! I got your Noel and Liam, they rock! Did you get my Master Pei from Kil Bill?!

300 is about one of the most inspiring, and under explored, stories in history. 300 Spartans hoding back the floodgates to the impending Persian invasion. I can understand you might think that the film looks too stylized and that the "marketing men" are just jumping on the Sin City band wagon but that shouldn't deter you from looking for what it is offering and not what others like it have. I've read the comic, and from what I've heard, this is about the brutality of the Spartan nation and its unified commitment to an idea at any cost, non of this sissy-crap-happy endings-nothing-matters-cos-everyone-goes-to-the-afterlife a la Gladiator. (Not taking anything away from Gladiator, cos I think it rocks) Anyway enough of mmy crappy rant! Read the 'Graphic Novel' before you make any judgment!:p If 300 is less epic than Gladiator it has already failed as a film. The Story is vastly more epic, you also have to realise the Battle of Thermopylae happened (With variations in the Persian numbers). Gladiator was basically about two men, this is about two Nations, one being a gateway to Europe and the fast track to European expansion.

Simple, include animals and children! Imagine a level in a Zoo...

This is the most enjoyable game I have ever played I though it was awesome! There was also this fantastic article near the back of an issue of Edge about the darker undertones in the game, including the loss of innocence...I'll see if I can find it! In light of Twilight Princess...I LOVE THIS GAME!!!

Yea, actually I did't find the water temple that hard...just a bit confusing:bouncy: I loved the bit when you fought Shaow Link in that massive room/illusion!
