  1. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

I'm glad to see we're on the same page. I've also been keeping my expectations extremely low because of how boring Breath of The Wild was, I wasn't going to make that same mistake again. It was Nintendo's greatest betrayal. But I'm pleased to see someone who disliked the first is enjoying the second
  2. Immortals Fenyx Rising (December 3, 2020)

I think I only came across it when just looking for something, then got the teeny rumble. Most of the time you can see them, but it's a nice lil hack so you don't have to traipse through it again.
  3. Immortals Fenyx Rising (December 3, 2020)

Just a curious thought popped into me head - Do you use your sight to signpost the chest in each Vault? I didn't till at least halfway through
  4. We only had them on easy, but it still shocked me, when I used a Boo against them it took 21 coins, I thought it was doing a light mash so I thought that was quite a good result. When they used it on me I'm hammering away like I was playing Track n Field, and it took 26-28 from me! Fucks.
  5. I finally got round to playing a Mario Party game... first time ever. Was playing with 2 other peeps, so had a CPU 4th player. Did Pirate Land in which the CPU won on sneaky endgame stars. Then gave Mystery Land a try, in which the CPU won again, because it hit 2 mystery blocks and got 2 stars a couple of turns apart right at the end... Is it always this jip-py?
  6. Immortals Fenyx Rising (December 3, 2020)

Is that the one on the (I think?) bottom left of the map, probably one of the hardest bitches in the game. Even with all my anti flying stuff and crotch shots it took some time.
  7. Ignore this, was asking about Dabo but spelt it as Dabbo
  8. Immortals Fenyx Rising (December 3, 2020)

I don't think I did a single Lyre challenge, maybe the first as it was right nearby the harp, but I couldn't be bothered to memorise a tune then whizz over wherever. I liked the constellation challenges more, and the calming music when you do the arrow challenges There will be a thing where things to find for switches etc are very close (like rocks to Deku circles in that boring Zelda rip off of this game), I think I did the exact same thing as you, and when zipping away I saw it, lesson learnt. One upgrade I would try and get is the making a statue clone of Fenyx, helps with switches a lot, and for attacks having your bird pepper the enemy with fire. Don't bother with the snow until the end, will be your last zone.
  9. Because the "light novel" of Overlord is still going on, there isn't going to be a new season for some time, most grating... it ended on a... I don't want to say cliffhanger, but shit is definitely going down. Next on the agenda - How Heavy are The Dumbbells You Lift? because I'm all about gains.
  10. Star Trek Masturbatathon

How is that a spoiler? Blasted through the last 6 episodes over the weekend. It was nice to see the gang back together as we all knew they would. I feel the villan and big bad lost their way towards the end.
  11. General Movie Thread

I watched Dungeons and Dragons Honour Among Feeves yesterday. I've never played it before, so I know there will be some references I missed, I recognised a few place names, especially Baldur's Gate. And a great homage to the cartoon gang. I went in with zero expectations, so wasn't disappointed. It wasn't all that bad, generic fantasy action/adventure movie.
  12. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Shopto took my money months ago, sneaky fucks. I'm hoping this means I'll get it super early
  13. The Star Wars Thread

The creed is all full of this bullshit. Question anything you get a "that is the way" and they walk off.
  14. I honestly don't remember it existing at all until probably the GameCube times... no impasse yet, I'll see how I go with Erika over the weekend.
  15. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Same here, although it was mainly 5 of the same thing, apples, peppers, mushrooms, meat, maybe I'd do some meat AND veg, I know, I know... I'm such a rebel. The most complicated dish I ever made was when they forced you into it for the bird children. Seeing the options of what you could make is impressive, but I just don't have the patience to test everything. Pick ingredients, press cook, instant result - Tales of Symphonia Stylie. I even tried making elixirs as well, but all I ever got was that Dubious Food, so I gave up.
  16. Star Trek Masturbatathon

Mama mia, it looks like it - in the way that she looks different (not just older), not that she looks bad.
  17. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

I know right? Then you have to start hammering the buttons to skip it as soon as possible every single time around, just so you can cook 5 apples.
  18. Well that's the thing, the way internet is going, connectivity will eventually not be a problem. Worldwide consistent internet for allow for lag free gaming wherever you go? It may be coming, but I doubt we'll see that kind of stability in our lifetime.
  19. Star Trek Masturbatathon

I'm nearing the end of Picard, it's going along nicely, a few questions left unanswered currently but I'm expecting them to be addressed shortly. The work Gates has done on her face though... a true shame, if I didn't know it was her ahead of time I may not have recognised her. Finally - I'm so sick of Rafaella. She had use in the first season, not much in the second, and now seems to exist purely to whine and pad out episodes. A massive waste of an returning characters potential. It isn't going to happen, but they should go back to Deep Space Nine and redo the Odo visual effects.
  20. Only if it is able to run offline. Maybe stored on some sort of portable device you could use on different devices, maybe lend to a friend and play on the go.
  21. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

This is a surprise, I bet you still have to wait a bit before you can skip the cooking animation though, that's where the real frustration comes from. Too true, would've made the game suck way less. Especially the horse stuff. Mainly that really, I'm not sure what other conveniences were offered for you to shell money out on.
  22. Netflix

I was going to say! I thought you were saying there was some sort of Doctor Who regeneration thing going on... I've not watched the trailer yet.
  23. Netflix

NINE-NINE I've jumped back a couple of seasons of Brooklyn Nine-Nine to refresh my memory for the new season which dropped last week.
  24. Finally getting back into Dragonball Super. I've really been dragging my heels going through my blu ray set. Finally gotten to the Tournament of Power, where 48 minutes is going to be displayed over more than 30 episodes.
  25. Working my way through Paper Mario at the moment (of course with the N64 controller) I was a bit worried how it didn't have extra damage/blocking abilities at the start, but they then worked it in, as I grew up with the Mario and Luigi handheld shizzle. Only downside with this bit is that Mario doesn't look like he's dodging when you press so you know when you've fucked up. Also Pokémon Stadium, working through the Gym Castle... I've been taking it slow, currently on Celadon Gym, but it's been unique choosing random rentals I never would've used, because I plowed through with my squad. It's interesting having to go down a stage because of the moveset, ie I've gone with Ivysaur/Weepinbell because Venusaur/Victreebel's moves blow.
