l I don't know. if they made this with completely new characters with slight throwbacks to the originals( I'm talking planet references) then it has a good chance, but if they have a CGI'd elderly Luke Skywalker training someone or some shit I will puke my ring. we all know george's problem was he had too much power and was surrounded by too many "yes" people that were afraid to challenge him whenever he made stupid decisions( you know like the entire episode of 2) With new younger blood this could be awesome but this NEEDS to be live action.

You know series 8 had some very good episodes too and had some great side characters. Captain Holister was great and Mr acherman( sp?) as well as Kill crazy. Cassandra was the best episode of that series and it had some great moments. Classic scene right here. But series 8 had the first proper BAD episodes of red dwarf though. Back to the Red part 3 was WEIRD and stupid!

Now THAT felt like a dwarf episode! I really took issue with the previous one. This was good because there was ONE storyline and it kept focus. The last 2 had side ones.. I'm not sure it works.

Well it does bother me a little that all of Daniel Craigs films seem to use the same chords or at least structure as each other. I do like skyfall though, sounds like a classic bond theme. It's certainly not Madonna bad..

I think Holly is a rather pointless character at this point anyway. Everything after series 2 is unneeded because Kryten took his role on explaining the technical information of whats happening in the episode.

wayyyy too harsh on series 7 guys. There were plenty of good moments in it. true it wasn't as good as 6 but remember it had 8 episodes. Rimmer was in 4 of them and that's not saying the kochanski ones were bad either...

hm not bad 10 minutes off. ya I'm looking forward to this having grown up with the series essentially. Not many people i know watch it though.

I'm actually only taking a guess at the time to be honest, but I'd imagine it would be shown quite soon after the first showing.

Bit of a crossroads in my life at the moment. DOn't know whether to leave the country and give up my job or go and do a masters course where I am next year. Either way I'm saving like crazy. I would LOVE to go back to composing properly though sigh.

hmm that's interesting. I never heard about any code but I really DID think you could unlock Oxide by beating all of his ghosts. I thought that's how you unlocked Ntroopy? The penguin was unlockable with just a code too wasn't it?

Nothing against spiritual people people but religion has been holding us back as a race for far too long. I do think if religion wasn't there to control us something else just as bad would however.

This was amazing. Not sure it was ALL that in 3d though. I'm never entirely sure a dark movie will ever work in 3d but nevertheless 8/10. Very fresh yet retro. Hopefully this will signal a return to violent action flicks

I wouldn't find it as annoying some people but some films and series are BUILT on the ending twist or what not. The Sixth Sense is the prime example. It's a fairly average film without the ending.

I've often thought this too. I'd give Donkey kong land as a good example of this. If you look at the restrictions here it's incredible these games came out the way they did especially considering how even the country games were top of their graphics game for the SNES. The gameplay is here much like the Zelda examples above. Even pokemon red/blue. Pokemon is one of the deepest RPGs ever created and shows that with great restrictions you can do a game as good as the consoles were getting. I almost wish these days developers would push handheld games as far as their console counterparts but this doesn't happen. Super mario land 3ds is a FAR cry away from Super mario galaxy and Zelda phantom hourglass is a far cry away from OOT.

I do the skin too.. It has left some scarry marks on my hands which is shit.

I have a tendency to kind of Pace around a room instead of sitting down sometimes which people find odd. Does anyone else do this?
