A choice of main character would be a nice addition to the game.

Havn't been on TP for a few days, been a bit pre-occupied with all the family that visited over the Christmas Holidays. I got quite a bit left to do last time i checked, must get back onto it later

Very good WW avatar, i'll give it an 8/10. -
Rumble in the Bronx Fairly good film starring Jackie Chan. The action is good throughout and the supporting cast give good performances as well. There are some humourous moments in the film as well. The whole end sequence of the film was very entertaining. 8/10

My top 5 Movies are: Die Hard Rocky IV The Spy who Loved Me Police Story Terminator 2

Out of both Holly's, i think the original Holly (male) was the best.

OK, i thought the first bit of the field was big. Once i had lifted the Twilight from Hyrule, i couldn't believe how big the field really is. Once i've opened all entrances/exits in the field, i will enjoy this very much.

Might go and see this when it comes out, it looks quite good so far. Cheers for the link

License to Kill Quite a good film, which shows James Bond (Timothy Dalton) persueing a personal vendetta instead of following orders. 8/10.

I'm quite a fan of Red Dwarf, own every series including series 8 which isn't really that bad of a series. I havn't really got one favourite episode, so my top 5 episodes are Back to Reality Gunmen of the Apocalypse Rimmerworld Backwards Tikka to Ride I also quite liked the special Can't Cook Won't Cook entitled "Can't Smeg, Won't Smeg" which they did for the 10th Anniversary which was included on the Series 4 extras disk and also Backwards - Forwards i.e. the episode starts at the credits and goes to the titles (you can understand what the backwards Earth people say), This is included on the Series 3 extra disk. I've just about lost all hope of a Red Dwarf movie ever coming out, but i wouldn't mind seeing either a new series or a couple of specials in the near future.

Spoiler-Free The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Thread
Jimbob replied to Tellyn's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Just got to the Goron Mine and i'm clocked in at 7 hours (i got a little lost in the Forest Temple). This game is definetly worth my money. I read somewhere that TP has 8 big dungeons and 5 or six smaller ones as well. Much better than Wind Waker's number. -
At the moment, i've just started the second dungeon and i'm loving every moment. It's true about Hyrule Field being that big, didn't think it was true though. This game so far has been worth the 3 year wait and the £30 spent on aquiring the game. Just had a look on ebay, and i saw the GC version of Twilight Princess going for this much
-
Update: I now have Twilight Princess in my collection as well
-
Finally, i hold in my hands Twilight Princess. Well, not literatly in my hands. It's been a long long wait, but now i can play what has been described as the best game this year.

If you click on the order, it tells you the exact stage your order is at.

It's a very good game, it's worth getting for the great gameplay this game provides and it has very good replay value. I just beat the game on the weekend for the third time. There is a choice in one part of the game when

At last, after what has seemed like an eternity Twilight Princess is nearly upon the GC. 2 days to go now. And the tin looks very good. I wonder if they send me a tin as well, it would be very nice. My order on Gameplay is now getting picked and packed. Just hope they send me the right version now. I remember i ordered Sands of Time from Gameplay for the GC and they sent me the game, but it was the PS2 version and not the GC version as i ordered
-
5 days to go!! I pre-ordered a copy of Twilight Princess in GAME ages ago, but since they stopped doing GC stuff, they cancelled my pre-order and refunded my deposit for the game which infuriated me. I didn't know that they could do that. They told me as the game was going to the Wii, they didn't see any point getting the GC version in. So i pre-ordered the game on Gameplay, which turns out to be cheaper. Just checked on my order on Gameplay. On the GC page on the site, they've increased the price to £34.99 due to the game being a huge hit on the Wii and everyone wants a copy of it. Lucky for me, i'm only paying £29.99 for the game on Gameplay as i ordered it 3 months ago. Play have sold out of the GC version already, and it isn't even out yet. Cheapest place to get the game if anyone wishes to get this version is Amazon, which have it for £29.99
-
Update: I've now got all 100 Skulltulas, all 20 Heart Containers, the Ice and Light Arrows, Golden Gauntlets, the last fairy upgrade and i've cleared the first section of Ganon's Castle. All in all, it will take me about 1/2 -1 hr of gameplay to beat the game again.
-
MGS:TTS was a great game and the second MGS game i've played. The first was the original back on the PSOne. This version of the game is not only graphically better, but it makes you want to play it again once you have beaten it for the alternative endings and unlockables.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker Discussion
Jimbob replied to Tellyn's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Welcome to the forum lforster. Wind Waker was a good game in my opinion. It was a bit of a short game, i completed it within a week of getting the game (thats only playing 2-3 hours a day and only doing the main quest). I was kind of hoping that there were a couple more dungeons/temples in the game and maybe an extra town or two to pad it out a bit longer. I also thought the Triforce Hunt was good, but it could of been better i.e. a couple of mini-dungeons to get a map or a piece of the triforce.
