  1. Wii U General Discussion

I changed broadband providers. Moved over to SKY. It was a nightmare getting them to connect it. It took 2 weeks to get it sorted and my old provider cut the service off before the contract was up as well. I didn't miss much it seems(besides the "World" Championships and the Smash DLC Direct) and hopefully I'm back in time for some good news at E3.
  2. Wii U General Discussion

Guess who's back? 2 weeks of catching up to do.

  7. There's something seriously f*cked up if someone can buy and sell an amiibo for triple its RRP in less than a day of its launch.
  8. Nikkei are very respectable. This isn't like a 4chan rumour. They must have good sources, they don't just print any old rumour.
  9. Splatoon

If only there was some way to voice your frustrations.

  11. Just announced. Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games announcement trailer(Japanese)
  12. Nintendo Direct Micro

I wouldn't have to make snide remarks if they showed good games. It wasn't intended to be funny. It was one comment, not exactly crapping up the thread. And with that I'm done with another one of your needlessly made threads.
  13. Nintendo Direct Micro

Splatoon is already released. Project Treasure looks like a Wii game. Didn't show it in the Direct Micro, its that fugly. Mario & Sonic.......meh.
  14. Nintendo Direct Micro

Should be titled "Nintendo 3DS Direct Micro".
  15. Wii U and 3DS Gaming Bargains

Watch Dogs is £11.63 on Gameseek.
  16. I have yet to see a Splatoon ad on TV. Though I've heard others on this forum say they have.

  18. Splatoon

And you would have to be smart about it. Climb up and get the ink in the high areas first otherwise you won't be able to swim up if you clean the lower areas first.
  19. Super Smash Bros. 3DS / Wii U

  20. Splatoon

What if they had a mode where the whole arena was covered in ink and you had something similar to the Poltergeist 5000 and you had to suck up the ink. The team who sucks up the most ink wins. And you could only suck up so much before emptying it in your tank back at base. And maybe you could suck up the opposition as well. They can call the mode Sucktoon.
  21. Dr. Mario

Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure may be its western name according to Miiverse. https://miiverse.nintendo.net/titles/14866558073678793929/14866558073678793943
  22. This weeks UK sales charts. Individual Formats All Formats Splatoon did rather well. Shame it didn't reach number 1. See Nintendo, it pays to advertise.
  23. Wii U eShop Thread

This weeks Wii U eShop downloads are as follows: Wii U eShop Don't Starve: Giant Edition (Klei Entertainment, €13.99 / £12.59) - An intriguing and stylish survival experience that has been critically acclaimed. The Wii U version also comes with the Reign of Giants expansion pack as part of the main game, while utilising the GamePad for inventory management and off-TV play. We'll try and survive to bring you a review soon. FullBlast (EnjoyUp Games, €4.99 / £4.40 until 2nd July, then €5.99 / £5.39) - Previously released on smart devices and Ouya, this adds to the small band of shmup titles on Nintendo's home platform, in this case with a focus on vertical scrolling and some boss set pieces. It supports two player co-op, too, and we'll give it a blast for review. Wii U Virtual Console Big Brain Academy (Nintendo, €6.99 / £6.29) - A title that helped to define the concept of the DS, and contributed a great deal to the portable's incredible success, arrives as the latest in the limited - to date - batch of DS titles on Wii U. A collection of minigames to test your faculties and (hopefully) show progress with practice, we gave this a reasonable if not glowing recommendation in our original Big Brain Academy review. Wii U eShop Temporary Discounts 99Moves (EnjoyUp Games, €1.49 / £1.34 until 2nd July, normally €2.49 / £2.29) 99Seconds (EnjoyUp Games, €1.49 / £1.34 until 2nd July, normally €2.49 / £2.29) Abyss (EnjoyUp Games, €1.49 / £1.34 until 2nd July, normally €1.99 / £1.79 Darts Up (EnjoyUp Games, €1.49 / £1.34 until 2nd July, normally €2.49 / £2.29) Rock 'N Racing Off Road (EnjoyUp Games, €2.99 / £2.69 until 2nd July, normally €5.99 / £5.39) Rock Zombie (EnjoyUp Games, €3.99 / £3.59until 2nd July, normally €6.99 / £6.29) Spy Chameleon (EnjoyUp Games, €3.99 / £3.59 until 2nd July, normally €4.99 / £4.49) Unepic (EnjoyUp Games, €4.99 / £4.40 until 2nd July, normally €9.99 / £8.99) Spot the Differences: Party! (Sanuk Games, €2.99 / £2.69 until 11th June, normally €5.00 / £4.49) Turtle Tale (Saturnine Games, €1.99 / £1.65 until 18th June, normally €2.99 / £2.49)
