  1. They are far easier to find in this game. So much so, that everyone here who played it found at least one.
  2. You're selecting Union Circle. Select Link Trade on the Poké Portal menu.
  3. Go to Poké Portal, press L to connect to internet, then choose Link Trade, enter the Link Code, and then search.
  4. I'll help. The link code is 1536 1536
  5. My favourite moment was @BowserBasher using Peach's Final Smash, only for me to drop down from the revival platform off screen and blatantly steal his K.O. (It's at the 30 minute, 45 second mark in the recording above) Just one of those moments where the stars align perfectly for comedy.
  6. Knew I could rely on you. Seeing as Sonic himself shows up in the game, then yes. That counts. It's too late for me to edit that image so... Sonic is also allowed tonight.
  7. I tried to @ you. But something freaked out and that happened. It was so bizarre that I didn't bother fixing it.
  8. Time for a theme night! Smash To The Beat! Disclaimer: You don't actually have to time button presses to the music during Smash, that's just dumb. Theatrhythm is out this month, and has a generous demo available. Of course, the catch is you'll inevitably have to buy the full game if you play it, because you'll crave more, but... Anyway, tonight, the character roster is restricted to characters that feature in some kind of rhythm game, whether that be a full fledged one like Theatrhythm, or some kind of minigame that has similar gameplay. I thought this would be quite a small group, but I kept remembering more and more instances of different rhythm situations (Oh god! That Fire Emblem mobile game has one!? But everyone is in that!), and it snowballed, so you're just gonna have to come to terms with the possibility that you won't be able to pick everyone here. EDIT: Ah, I forgot to mention a few costume restrictions. Mario - No Builder or Wedding Costume Hero - 11 style not allowed. (The Default style) Bowser Jr. - No Koopalings allowed It's worth noting that because of Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe, this is the first time that we've had a Kirby character in a Smash theme night, yet Kirby himself is absent! That's so weird! He's so intrinsically connected to the other 2 Kirby reps in Smash, that I thought it would never happen. Stages and Items will use the usual setup we play by in most sessions. Format - Time, 3 minutes FS Meter - On Considering how obscure some of these characters are. (@Dcubed informed me that Simon counts, through an incredibly obscure cameo in Pop N' Music) There's a distinct possibility that we've overlooked something, so go ahead and make me feel terrible by pointing them out. I bet Sonic has one somewhere... Go on, @Cube, I dare you!
  9. Right, so because we already started Mario Party 2 this week, our next game will be on... Western Land After giving Capt. Bowser an impromptu vasectomy (Yes, really), we're moving on to to the Wild West, where Bowser the Brash is running havoc. Huh? No, they're totally different Koopas! Don't be ridiculous. The main thing to watch out for is the train that travels around the tracks, it moves to the next station whenever someone lands on an happening space, and if you're standing in the way, you'll get sent back to start. Thankfully, unlike Pirate Land, this doesn't happen all the bloody time, and if you're smart about it, it can give you an advantage. Thursday, after Mario Kart will likely be the next time all four of us will be available.
  10. See. Now that you mention it, I'm reminded of how weird Mario Kart's Spiny Shell (Yes, "Blue Shell" is not the name of that item) is. I'm sure you all know what an actual Spiny is, they're the spiked annoyances that Lakitu chucks at you endlessly. And before you point it out, yes, Spinys are red. But we have had a case of Blue Spiny, specifically in Super Mario Bros. 3, and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Anyway, when it debuted in Mario Kart 64, the Spiny Shell did actually resemble a Spiny. Note the smooth shell, there aren't any lines on it. But then Double Dash happened... Now it's a Koopa Shell that's blue. Yes, it's still called the Spiny Shell to this day. And yes, this bothers me very much! That isn't a Spiny Shell! And that Paratroopa in the above poster is not a Spiny, it's a Koopa Paratroopa!
  11. Something about Bowser in that poster really does look like Jack Black. Something about the eyebrows reminds me of him.
  12. Boy howdy! Did we get some choice clips! Seriously, 3! It ended up like this! @BowserBasher was the one person who didn't land on the Bowser Space, but he had his own way of making everyone hate him. He had the least to lose, so he bought everyone down to his level, a very Mario Party 1 move, that.
  13. Some interesting games going on here. That last mini game decided all the placing! Nuts! It went by too quick though, so screw it! Straight to Mario Party 2's Pirate Land! @Dcubed lost 3rd place because of TOAD In The Box. Yes, really. Everyone had 1 star going into the Bonus Star handouts! Very close game. I appreciate Mario Party 1's weirdness, but after 9 games, it feels great to be playing a more balanced game!
  14. Right, 30 minute notice for @S.C.G and @BowserBasher. We'll finally be putting Mario Party 1 to bed this week. See you at 8.
  15. I'm just playing the demo casually. I'll end up just restarting my file for the full game, because the demo doesn't have enemies drop Collectacards, and I prefer to go through each title in order.
  16. I didn't forget because of Theatrhythm! SHUT UP! Player's Choice tonight at 8pm.
  17. FF XIV has a pretty solid soundtrack. It also seems to have had a massive boost to it's song list compared to Curtain Call too. The HUD hints at around 20 songs not in Curtain Call! Granted, that game has had some expansions since Curtain Call. I'm pleased with the strong start FF XV has. I looked at the sound test and saw Yoko Shimomura as the composer. So that explains that. I like how unique each character is in this. The abilities have been vastly expanded, so even the healers tend to specialise in certain things. At the level 30 cap the demo has, I've been rocking an all healer team of Aerith, Vanille, Y'shtola, and the best character, Minwu. You need all the healing you can get.
  18. You should also be aware that using loud weapons too much will cause enemies to spawn in some levels. Try using silenced weapons, if possible.
  19. I mean, it makes sense. Tears of the Kingdom will be out by the time E3 is here. And their next console isn't happening until next year at the earliest.
  20. I'm gonna keep myself in the dark about what characters are in it in that case. I wanna feel genuine crushing disappointment when I realise Benjamin is the only Mystic Quest character. It's just not the same if I look it up beforehand.
  21. Awww yeah! Best demo of the year incoming! Bet some saddo's gonna play it so much, they get all 30 characters maxed out as much as they can before the game is out. On an unrelated note, I might have spent literal hours on the 3DS demos...
  22. OK, then. It's alright anyway, UFA got one of her friends to help out and he finished the map off. I got some stat boosting items from getting the most crits, and other stuff. EDIT: Still, if you or anyone get to that point, she and I have started another three. 46LRJYD, 6G17LRH, and 6TR6B4V If that doesn't work, then some random person probably did it.
  23. Oh, they haven't, but a mixture of bad luck, and not having a fast egg option through sandwiches made sure it felt like lower odds.
  24. See, now I just feel like a dope spending literal months trying to get one back on Omega Ruby.
