  1. It's imperative that you get MSF 2 and Shantae on 3DS, guys. The WiiU version doesn't do those games any favours. MSF 1 on the other hand should definitely be gotten on WiiU. That price is so good, I might just double dip on MSF 1 despite owning the 3DS version.
  2. Online is definitely easier to navigate than MH3U, which I thought was an utter mess. The community of randoms is god-awful though. Full of people who clearly don't get the type of game style you need to perform well here. They also tend to have no manners, believing everyone is happy to help them out all the time. But sooner or later, the majority of these people will get bored and all that will be left are the proper players. ...I hope...
  3. Yeah, not exactly the easiest thing to control. But it was inevitable we were going to get a Blue Falcon night. I'm glad to get it out of the way early. (Shame I don't have access to the Capt. Falcon Amiibo)
  4. Confirmed! Ike and Lucina officially not cool enough for America!
  5. I know, right? Can't even spell "Censored" Someone's overcompensating with that picture...
  6. Seeing as the game came out for WiiU recently. Here's an in-depth review from my favourite reviewer.
  7. Around a week ago, I finished Majora's Mask 3D. Fair warning, I'm gonna be casually talking about the game, especially the changes within, so if you don't want to know...
  8. I resent the implication that I don't read posts. I saw the thread, thought "Oh, they're making another one for WiiU, that's cool." Then I read your opening post, and realised that wasn't exactly the case. For that brief moment, I was misled.
  9. Same here, very misleading.
  10. Just this game so far. I'm sure if you google some comparisons, you'll find them. But monsters and environments have more detailed texturing on N3DS. Shadows are more realistic too, on both hunters and monsters. It's extremely noticeable when you find two screenshots side by side.
  11. Now I'm only going on my experience with 3 Ultimate (They have the same basic camera controls) But the touch screen D-Pad worked perfectly fine for me. You just have to take the time to edit the bottom screen, make the D-Pad bigger, move it where it's comfortable. It's not just controls that are different, there's screenshots on Miiverse, improved textures and faster loading times.
  12. I wouldn't worry too much about quests. Accept all the ones you see, but do them as you go. Unless you're going for the super bosses, you won't need the stuff you get from them. Shulk is one of the best characters to control, due to his Monado Arts. Melia would be the only character I would ever consider controlling instead, thanks to her stat buffs. But she's more hands-off and I don't enjoy using her as much as Shulk. Stick with Shulk, you'll be fine. Sharla is a great crutch character if you're struggling to beat a boss. I kept her on my party throughout my entire first play through. But if you ever go for the optional quests and get certain... Rewards for doing so. (Won't spoil it here), she becomes a bit redundant. So if you're just casually playing through, Shulk, Sharla and whoever you like will do the job.
  13. Yeah, it's a key item. You can use it whenever you want. (Provided you've got your first Lati) EDIT: Ah, beaten with a critical hit... Speaking of events, people who have an account with Pokemon Bank can receive the Johto starters (Meganium, Typhlosion and Feraligatr) with their hidden abilities. Meganium doesn't benefit much from it, Typhlosion with Flash Fire is pretty cool, but it's Feraligatr with Sheer Force that steals the spotlight. Waterfall gets boosted to over 100 power before STAB gets added! Ice Punch and Crunch also get affected. I've been wanting a Sheer Force Feraligatr for years. (Of course, if you're not up for spending 5 quid, maybe some of you could ask me nicely to breed some off)
  14. Thanks to @kav82 for helping me farm a few monsters, getting myself a earth dragongem on the first attempt in the progress along with a 'splody sword and one with a whopping 300 water! (At HR3, that's a big deal) I've gotten rusty with the ballista binder and hunting gong. A bit embarrassing there. Thanks for dealing with my oversights like a good sport!
  15. I was afraid of this... The Wii Remote and Nunchuk really were the most comfortable ways to play this. (Move with Nunchuk, D-Pad selects Arts) It's a shame they had to compromise with the awkward Classic Controller setup. I find it odd that they didn't utilise the touch screen for selecting arts. (Kinda like Chrono Trigger DS did)
  16. Seriously!? I wouldn't dream of entering a room whose hunters are a higher HR than me. Except maybe if it was someone from here, and even then, I'd feel a bit embarrassed. I'm also going out of my way to do every available quest before tackling an urgent, no need to rush a game like this. BTW, HR3, Caravan 5 now, currently farming a Zinogre to keep my defense decent. I might be online tonight, so if you see me, feel free to pop in and maybe help a guy out. (Eff Yian Garuga though, some of the most unfair attacks I've ever seen, don't even get me started on when it starts running than instantly stops, turns 90 degrees and whacks you)
  17. Take the time to read the tutorials. Not just the ones that pop up automatically. There's a few that you can only see by accessing the Tutorial screen.
  18. @RedShell the last lap of Donut Plains in the first GP, watch @Dcubed or me. Either one will do. I have no idea what happened... (The Mole gets further and further away from me. I'm not putting up much of a fight)
  19. It would be pretty damn sweet to have a Groudon card with an illustration done by myself. Thanks for the heads up. Will definitely give the "My favourite Pokemon" one a go.
  20. You kinda (Hah!) made me want to draw Dedede now. Damn you, inspiration!
  21. I did, due to not having easy access to online. I'm happy with it. It's Smash, I love Smash. While I do think the game suffers from cutting adventure mode, WiiU Classic 8.0 is the most exciting thing I've done in Smash history. It's so insanely tense and brilliantly crafted. I know it's hard, but I highly recommend experiencing the final part of the final boss at least once. The atmosphere, the amazing music and the sheer unbridled terror of having only one life left culminate in a thrilling rush that ends in bitter defeat or immense satisfaction (Fist risen in triumph optional, I know I did that, not even ashamed). So, yes. Up the intensity to 8.0, tough it out, and you'll be treated to the greatest single player Smash experience possible. No, not even Giga Bowser in Melee can hold a candle to it. I would hope there's more intense bosses like this when the next Smash comes around. With more Kirby-style nightmare inducing abominations please! Bosses are the best bit about Single Player. While it's lacking compared to Brawl, it's definitely got more content than Melee, so I'd say it's worth your money. (As long as you actually like Smash, of course) 3DS still has better stages though.
  22. Thanks Serebii. It's been a while since this got a template. EDIT: Huh... For some reason, the template is really low quality... It's really blurry...
