  1. Well, that's the thing. If we were to grab the last two shards, then we could squeeze a short "Let's beat up the Final Boss" session after Mario Kart, or before Smash, on Thursday or Saturday.
  2. If there's one very thin silver lining to this, is that maybe Vicarious Visions could be rescued from their Call of Duty assistance prison, along with other similar developers that Activision banished there. Those guys injected some much needed revitilisation to Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater with some high quality remakes, effectively reviving them from the dead, only to then get taken apart by Activision. Some thanks, huh? Of course, that all depends on whether MS actually care enough about the other IP's they just got, which I'm not super confident about.
  3. Not just MS, this opens the floodgates for other companies with too much money to start consolidating stuff, purely to prevent competitiors from doing the same thing.
  4. Yup, Disco Elysium is very, very good. Highly recommended.
  5. It was inevtiable, really. Capitilism marches on if there's money to be made.
  6. Just a heads up for @BowserBasher and @S.C.G. @Dcubed won't be able to make it for tonight's theoretical Kirby sesh. We're coming up to the endgame at this point. So it's up to you whether we go on without him, because I would personally want to at least fight the final boss with 4 players. If you do want to play tonight, I think it would be best to get the last two shards, but then hold off on starting the final boss, and bum around picking up chests if we still have time.
  7. Yeah, that's a very thinly veiled, and racist, "America should own everything" article. Just the title alone says that.
  8. The Bravely Default Pack is out now. The 4 songs from Bravely Default were in Curtain Call, while the two from BD II are new. I already made my thoughts clear on the previous page about the song selection. It's an excellent selection, but I can't help but feel this is a series that could've done with a second pack to cover Bravely Second, and more of BD II... Ah well, "That of the Name" is balls to the wall hard on Ultimate!
  9. They've changed the key art a little. Here's the before... And here's the after... Kung Fu Peach is an improvement, but I'm not too sure about the center one. First of all, it's veering dangerously close to "The DreamWorks Smirk", secondly, the edited face shape makes it look shrunken, especially with the other three Peaches retaining the original shape. Gives me a feeling of uncanny valley.
  10. Player's Choice tonight at 8pm.
  11. No! Bad! You're already playing Octopath Traveler II in 3D!
  12. Off the top of my head. Anything that can attack through walls would do the job in Epic Flail. Stuff like the X-Bomb, or the Smart Bomb. This would also apply to quite a few Final Smashes as well. Samus, Dark Pit, Lucas, Ness, Kazuya, basically, any character that doesn't cut away to a different scene for their attack. It probably didn't take because I turned the FS Meter off to fit the Smash 4 theme, so Final Smashes weren't as common.
  13. The main mechanic he's talking about is a constant source of... I've been screwed over more then a few times by it, and it's loads of fun!
  14. Yeah, the Dragoon's hitbox is humongous! About 50% bigger then what the reticle suggests.
  15. I chose Snake, completely forgetting he wasn't in Smash 4. Sorry. Didn't deserve to play that match.
  16. Much like the Mario Kart theme I went for, tonight's theme will be commemorating the best WiiU online game you won't be able to play online next year. Let's Play Smash for WiiU I was saving this one for a bit later, but it's too perfect now. Just like the "for 3DS" theme, this is almost every character from Smash WiiU. Mii Fighters are allowed this week. Be aware that Charizard is not shown above, as he was reabsorbed into Pokémon Trainer. If you really want to, you can use Pokémon Trainer, but you'll have to restrict yourself to only using Charizard. There are some costume restrictions in place Mario - No Wedding or Builder outfit Link - Classic Tunic only Yoshi - No crafted texture Ike - Older versions only (Not the default style) Pour one out for Jungle Hijinx, Woolly World, and Orbital Gate Assault. 3 of the best stages in WiiU... Format: 3 Stock, 10 Minutes FS Meter: Off See you at 8!
  17. A few hiccups, but we still made another three mirror shards worth of progress. And we've got the awesome room now! Sorry, @BowserBasher, blame the lag. Cannons are a nightmare!
  18. Don't care, mine's funnier! Here's my viewpoint of the second blatant tag teaming!
  19. Right, time for another theme. With the news that 3DS/WiiU online capabilities will finally be shut down next April, I'm dedicating this theme to the order most of us probably played through the original WiiU release. See you tonight at 8pm.
  20. That suggestion to transfer Pokémon to HOME "at their earliest convenience" basically says that Bank's online capabilities are numbered. If there are still Pokémon on your 3DS you want to transfer to the Switch, do so now!
  21. That's like the one game he doesn't need to detail! Also, we're still more then a decade away from that yet.
  22. You madman, you actually did it! Out of curiosity, how long does your Switch profile say you played it for?
  23. I sure did, even added very appropriate music to it.
  24. Oh no, I knew you weren't serious about the first part. Just about the question, in general. But yeah, it's how they try to balance it with how more common Final Smashes are in with the FS Meter. It also means Smash Balls are defo worth going for.
  25. Just in case you are serious... Final Smashes from Smash Balls do more damage and knock back. Marth (and Lucina) in particular benefits from that because it's effectively a one hit-kill that way. Barring luck with terrain.
