Just watching DCubed play this makes me really wanna try it out.
Good thing he's insane and will get the digital version as well so I might have to borrow his disc.
I get where you're coming from, but in the grand scheme of things, do you actually care that much about cosmetics such as skins?
I'm not saying you shouldn't voice your views, but you tend to go overboard over the smallest of things.
Amiibo's are figurines first that give bonus content as little perks. Making those perks available through other methods would take away some of the point.
You give the impression that you don't understand the main draw of it. No-one here bought the Amiibo's for the content they give you in games (I definitely didn't buy my Bowser and Greninja one to use them in Smash)
That's perfectly fine, but don't go whinging about every little thing they give as if they're the apocalypse.
Pokemon Rumble U says "Hi" (And personally, it can get lost, but it does exist)
EDIT: Beaten twice, tee hee, I'm too slow!
And this isn't quite the same thing, is it?
Pokemon is pretty huge, I'm surprised the amiibo's get almost no use, considering.
@Wii, seriously, mate. You are not doing yourself any favours here. Everyone here thinks it's a perfectly good idea.
That said, the Greninja amiibo really would have been a great fit for Yoshi...
Oh well, I'm more than happy having a Bowshi. (Along with the Amiibos @Dcubed has)
Why are the Pokemon amiibos so criminally underused? It amazes me that there isn't at least a Pikachu Mii outfit in Mario Kart.
I mean, the Mega Man amiibo has more usage than the Pikachu one, that's just bizarre.
I'd love to know the reasoning. I wonder if the Pokemon Company just flat out said "No" or if Nintendo just don't care for Pokemon enough to make little things like this.
I second this. Mother 3 is a true masterpiece.
Anyway, the one critically acclaimed game I just can't enjoy would be F-Zero GX.
Don't get me wrong, I recognise it's a great game, but it's far too fiddly for my liking. To be fair, the whole series just makes me instantly want to play something else.
For the same reason, I'd also put Super Mario Kart in this group actually.
I've already explained that this game's oversensitive handling and the sheer cheek of the CPU opponents just make the whole thing an ordeal.
Meanwhile, back in the far more reasonable version, I've reached the final boss.
The key word is "reached". It is not going to go down easily. Having to fight 6 bosses at once is going to be tough going!
Felt tips? You know.
They're in Pokemon Art Academy and allowed for a cartoony style that the other tools couldn't use.
Case in point...
I love the look it gave and am very upset that there's no sign of them.
It worked, didn't it?
You were far too close for comfort, I had to try and shake you off.
Glad to see it hit it's mark.
EDIT: Oh, I looked back on the footage.
@Dcubed got capture equipment!
I was in first! Where was I supposed to throw it!?
Don't make me out to be more of a jerk than I already am!
I really hope they've learned from their mistakes with the 3DS one. That game is a bad stain on the series.
If it's even half as good as Explorers of Sky, I'm gonna be super happy.
Serebii's misgivings be damned!
I'm starting to see why you don't like the series. It's not exactly the kind of game you should pick apart to the extreme.
HAL did Snap?
Huh...
I remember seeing some weird company name associated with it... Let me just wiki that...
Ah, Pax Softnica. Only N64 game they did. They're not around anymore.
Mystery dungeon has a pretty large fan base. Like, genuinely big for a spin-off series.
It might also be that the company who did Snap just isn't around anymore. (Pure guess, feel free to correct me if that's wrong)
Chun Soft do the Mystery Dungeon Series and have nothing to do with Snap. Same as whoever does Rumble.
That has to be factored in as well.
