  1. Yep, not a fan of Advance Wars either. Maybe it's just you...
  2. Might as well get back into the neverending quest to get out of High Rank. If anyone fancies helping a couple of HR 6 peeps out, it'd be much appreciated. @kav82, @RedShell, anyone?
  3. Uhhh... I'm not sure making a new account is the best course of action...
  4. Have you seen his posts recently? He clearly needed some time out. He was starting to get a bit angry and abusive. Plus the constant backchatting. I feel it was the right choice. (I am assuming it's temporary)
  5. It basically gives you a CPU version of that character which you can train up and use in multiplayer fights. It's quite complex in the ways you can teach the Amiibo, but personally, I think it's a bit lame and not much fun at all. I suppose if you were really competitive, it provides you with a tougher opponent than Lv 9 CPU's, but I can't even beat Classic 9.0 without losing a life!
  6. I don't know, maybe it's because I only own Ninty consoles, but I don't see any point in preordering any game. I can't honestly remember the last time I preordered something. I just waltz into my independant game shop, normally two days before release, and pick it up, no problems.
  7. Nope, I was mistaken. I was thinking of Lunk. Check it out if you haven't, Cyanide and happiness lunk, it cracks me up.
  8. That was uncalled for. It's a valid point he made. There's more to this story than this video.
  9. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but is that a Cyanide & Happiness reference? Because if so, I love you. That segment was hilarious!
  10. Wa-bam! Source I'm so happy this series will (hopefully) reach a conclusion. I hope I wasn't wrong in posting this to the Nintendo Board, seeing as it'll also be available on Vita. I'm kinda new to the making a thread thing...
  11. I can't stop laughing at those pecs! It's probably because of 19 years of typical Charizard design, Bandai Namco decided that it'd look better with pecs. ...Did I mention Charizard has pecs now and it is really funny?
  12. Wait, was Blaziken ever officially revealed? The roster has no 5th or 6th gen playable Pokemon yet, if I'm remembering correctly. That's really lame if that's the final roster. Far too focused on Red/Blue.
  13. Don't see why you think you shouldn't be posting that. It's perfectly relevant... Weavile is a nice choice, but anyone could have predicted Charizard. Stop catering to the Genwunners! Get some others in there!
  14. That's disappointing. It would have been nice to scan my Greninja amiibo and get absolutely sod all!
  15. Plugs into the Wii Remote, eh? DO WANT FO' SURE
  16. Barely mandatory usage is still a step back from no mandatory usage though.
  17. I'd give it a DNF. It started off boring and didn't get much better. Art style's nice though!
  18. Ask them "Assuming God is infinite and the entire world is also infinite... Would they like a toasted teacake?" Quite a currenty question, that.
  19. You really need to play Black/White.
  20. Now that's an understatement!
  21. But you have to think of the poor suckers who still can't get the amiibo they want for some reason. Like, say, a light-blue Yarn Yoshi, or a Shulk amiibo. In other words, what about meeeeeeeee!?
  22. Dude, the majority of Japan would disagree with us. And the Japanese Pokemon fan base is way, way, way larger than us lot! And I was under the impression that Serebii would like home console Pokemon games, he was trying to point out that a game with the same kind of structure as the mainline series is very likely to stay portable. And I totally agree. It was when people started suggesting he had no idea what he was on about that he started to take offense. He had nothing against new projects that would count as spin-offs.
  23. Just popping in to say that you're right on the money there.
  24. He keeps a very close eye on how Pokemon games are handled before release as well, even in Japan. It's not just a knowledge of the games themselves. It's a knowledge of how the games are advertised, and the many PR campaigns that The Pokemon Company do along with it. This is especially noteworthy in Japan, which has many, MANY Pokemon PR stunts. Also, Japan are crazy into portability, it's not all about Europe. Simply dismissing his knowledge because he puts way more time into the whole franchise than the majority of fans is a little bit deluded. He knows what he's on about. Definitely more so than you or me.
  25. Lovely review there. Sums up nicely what makes Paper Mario such a memorable RPG. Can't wait to play through it for the... I've lost count of how many times I've played this, to be frank!
