This is the thing that irritates me the most. I'm gonna post the pdf file again so it doesn't get lost in the previous page. Because people really need to know the bald-faced cheek of SMS claiming that the WiiU version was always a maybe. WiiU is mentioned a few times, but you want to scroll down to page 28.
-
Pretty much. Everyone knows why it's cancelled. That's not the reason people are annoyed. Loads of people saw it coming. It's just incredibly bad practice to continue to promise something that you know you most likely won't be able to deliver.
-
Well, that link I just posted had a little poll about which console people were looking forward to playing this on. Wii U got the most votes. So there was some kind of an audience back then at least. It's not a huge amount of course, and there's no way of telling how many of them backed the project. But they kept advertising that they were making this WiiU version that was "Looking great", etc. etc. Clearly, it wasn't looking great. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been cancelled so abruptly. I totally understand why it was cancelled, but it's the fact they kept acting like it was going to happen when it obviously wasn't that's got me annoyed.

As opposed to the first link in my previous post? They were always advertising that there would be a WiiU version. Here's the second news story that was posted to the site. http://www.projectcarsgame.com/home/which-platform-are-you-getting-project-cars-on They knew what the WiiU was capable of back when they originally announced it. Not to mention that for a long time, they were reassuring people that the WiiU version was coming along nicely. (The second link in my previous post shows that) When they moved on to the next generation consoles, they should have been upfront about the WiiU version instead of just leading people on. And now they're saying that the WiiU version was "always a maybe" That's a bunch of bull! The WiiU version was one of the most hyped aspects about the game. I once again refer to page 28 of the pdf. It's scummy.

Because they were lying! OK, a more sensible response... My guess would be that the WiiU version never existed until the second half of 2014. They were just pretending they were working on it. Now of course, I'm just guessing, but the impression I get is that they never actually started working on a WiiU version until the XBone/PS4 versions were pretty much done, and that's when they realised it wasn't going to work. Either way, they were still lying, and it's still a big middle finger to anyone who helped to fund it and stated they would get it on the WiiU.

I hate your friend. That and the light blue Yarn Yoshi are the only ones I want! Until I get both of those, stock issues are most certainly more!
-
It was a foregone conclusion, but I still think it's incredibly scummy, considering it was originally pitched as a WiiU/PC/PS3/360 game. They should have announced it was scrapped along with the 360/PS3 versions instead of stringing people along. Lovingly nicked from GAF, you wanna check page 28. http://www.wmdportal.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/WMD_Overview_160212.pdf It's inexcusable! They should be getting more flak for this. Them saying the WiiU version was "always a maybe" is even worse. They flat out lied. End of! EDIT: This post from GAF is worth reading as well. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=172555901&postcount=130

I don't think it quite beats getting a pet bird in a cage for your house, and then having one of your avian residents visit your house and comment about how "This birdcage really ties the room together nicely!" Found an image that's almost similar to my situation. Surely, this is some kind of trafficking, isn't it?

Huh... Guess the crossover went both ways. Does this mean we're gonna see a Rathalos in the next Zelda?

It's a nice theme, but the 10 currently in my favourites list are all better for me. So I'll give it a miss. Yes, 10. I actually have more than 10, (The default ones don't count) but they won't fit in there. My name is Glen-i and I have a 3DS theme problem.

You can't think like that when it comes to the star catalogue. Otherwise you wouldn't buy anything. That's nothing! You know that copy of Hyrule Warriors I played to death and voted as my Game of the Year 2014? Not even mine!

Is he referring to the WiiU Pro Controller? Or the Wii one? Because if it's the WiiU Pro controller, then I'm calling BS on the bolded point. The buttons are about the same size as the Gamepad. Also, I've been playing Smash with the Gamepad ever since it came out, and not once have I ever pressed the wrong button. While I'm at it, I've never felt the analog sticks were too far apart either. (I use them to pull off side attacks quickly) Of course, if he's referring to the Wii pro controller, then fine.

Had no idea who Dr. Weir is, so didn't know what to expect. That's gonna take a while to forget.

And that folks, is why I didn't bother saving my stars for it! There's always an upside to knowing a complete nutter when it comes to game soundtracks.

Man, it's like the complete opposite of how I felt about The Wonderful 101. Didn't enjoy the gameplay, loved the characters/story. I totally understand how you feel. It's feeling like a chore, right? That's how I felt while playing W101. While it had an amazing ending, I didn't feel like it was worth all the time it took to get there. I would suggest you stop if the setting is really making you not enjoy the game that much. And Bayonetta 2, while it's more fun to play, the story is just as stupid. (Which admittingly, is why I like it so much)

OK, I really feel like I have to step in. I know I don't like the game that much, but this really needs to be said... Have you actually looked back on the last bunch of posts? You are talking about a family-friendly team-based shooter. I feel like I walked into an accountant's meeting and it's absolutely hilarious! Now I know how people feel when I try to explain how Effort Values in Pokemon work.

Can't help but think I might have influenced this sentence a tad. Great reviews. You definitely enjoyed Mouse Attack more than I did though. You could kinda tell I wasn't enjoying it as much as the other games.

So I'm sure you know that I took part in a "24 hours of Kirby" marathon in tribute to Satoru Iwata. Naturally, this means I did finish more than a couple Kirby games along the way. I won't talk on what I think of them. We'd be here forever otherwise. But I will post boxart. Hmmmm... Seems some American Kirbies got on the GBA boxes. Oh, before I forget. To @Mr\-Paul, Yes. I do sing that song almost every time I play Kirby. Ever since the DSi days. It actually comes from an old Flipnote I did a very long time ago. A simple animation of Kirby doing his typical Kirby dance while I provided lyrics. As you probably know, I'm not the best singer, but that was beside the point. The interesting thing is that you never heard the full version in that live stream. So just because you asked about the song, here are the lyrics to the full version. A whole extra two lines! Kirby has just pwned you all, You didn't stand a chance, Now everyone who is not dead Can do the Kirby Dance!

I've replied to your question about how to do Youtube links in WiiU General Discussion. But for now, I'll sort that out for you.
-
You wanna take the last bit of your URL. In your case, that would be Rznb_t3SE0A And then you put that in between the Youtube HD bracket things. They start as

Got disconnected on the last GP, that's my night over.

I'll be in, but a quick question. Amiibo costumes? In or out? DCubed has a Kirby amiibo and I think it would be nice to use it for this.

And we did it, 24 hours of Kirby games. And I'm ecstatic to say we broke our target quite comfortably. We raised £125 for Cancer Research UK. I'm extremely exhausted, and I can't imagine how poor @Dcubed is feeling. But we managed to get almost every Kirby game we had planned played through. Not to 100% of course. That would be insane! We had to give Kirby's Adventure Wii a miss and we did two worlds of Rainbow Paintbrush, but we played the rest of our games as far as we can go without going for all the optional stuff. There are so many people to thank, but to be honest, and this is nothing personal, I am completely shattered. So I'm gonna pull a Milky Way Wishes ending, and just go to bed! Thank you all!

If you were to do that, someone would have to provide an Iwata Mii QR Code, and everyone would have to edit the name, so you can tell who is who. (For example, I could be Glen-Iwata) and you'd have to do it ASAP so people can get ready before Thursday. And yes, before you ask, I would happily temporarily come back for this. If only out of respect.

I'm in shock. I can't even think of what I should say. So I'll just keep it simple. R.I.P Iwata.
