Oh, that sucks. I was planning on doing another N64 multiplayer-a-thon tomorrow night.

Technically, Kingdom Hearts III is there. But that's an insult to anyone who actually wanted Kingdom Hearts on Switch.

Obligatory Christmas Theme! Driving around in snowy places before the weather turns to crap, and forces us all back to a toasty fireplace! Because it's Christmas, there'll be no offensive items. Because throwing a red shell backwards into someone's face is not in the holiday spirit, damnit! EDIT: Word of warning, I had to update my Switch today, so make sure you do that before it's too last-minute

Not even a multiplatform one? Anyway, not important! Time for your yearly dose of "He plays way too much!" And none of them are Tears of the Kingdom! Me chasing 100% in Fire Emblem: Engage really starting to show here... Nothing strange in the stats, but they've used the wrong Mii three years in a row now! I changed my hair from that over a year ago! Between this and Theatrhythm, Square really smacked it out of the park this year!

This is why it's my least favourite of the BD games. It's like every boss is now that Swordmaster dude from the first game. In the first game, it's one boss whose whole shtick is countering you, and it's fun because he has to waste a turn setting it up, so you can work around it. In BD II, nah, they just counter you whenever they feel like it, it gets very annoying and unfair!

Waiting until I get on to a Desktop before I do so. My extremities cannot be contained on a mere mobile device!

Actually, yes. If someone's playing on one of the NSO apps and you look at their profile screen in the friends section, it'll tell you precisely what game they're playing. Anyway, don't worry, I'll be posting my stuff soon to make you all feel better about how much time you waste on games. EDIT: On a similar note, did you play something like Paper Mario? That might explain the RPG oddity. @Hero-of-Time, you didn't post what game you selected as your favourite!? Booooo!

Super Mario RPG (for Switch! - 17th November 2023)
Glen-i replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
This was the one I was expecting. (Seriously @Hero-of-Time? Miitopia is basically cheating) Anyway, she's not playable in the same way she is in Mario RPG, she's not a full fledged party member. -
Super Mario RPG (for Switch! - 17th November 2023)

Yes, but since Donkey Kong, the only time Mario's wielded one was Wrecking Crew and Donkey Kong 94, for obvious reasons. Mario RPG's the point where it started to really become a trend. I also don't think it's obsolete, it's a different game in a different scenario, and the only time Peach has been playable in an RPG. In fact Smash Bros. has had a nod to appearance in this game since Melee! No, Super Paper Mario doesn't count. Totally different genre. -
Super Mario RPG (for Switch! - 17th November 2023)

Mario & Luigi (and Paper Mario) basically takes and improves the structure that Mario RPG laid down. Action Commands, humourous writing, Mario's signature weapon being a hammer, it all started here. It's a significant game for that reason, but it will feel a bit basic compared to what came after. -
This really can't be overstated. There's well over 30 songs from FF XIV in Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line, and I was absolutely staggered when I went to the Music Player and noticed that he composed all of them! He has mad musical range! Crazy talent!

Great, now I want this! And it doesn't even exist! Thanks a lot, jerk!
-
No, it's deffo happened to me. It doesn't make a difference. I think the Random option being on both pages is purely for convenience.
-
Oh no, I agree. And I am all in on Nomura's Crazy Retcon Train! It's fun seeing what liberties Remake took. The thing is though, I'm so expecting it to change at this point, that it playing out as it does in the original would actually be a legit twist. It's what I would do in his shoes.

OK guys. I'm gonna have to ask the question. It's time to place your bets! You know what I'm going to ask, but I'll spoiler it anyway.

Uhhh... Actually... I believe it's another edition of "I probably should've told them that" It was probably a good idea for BowserBasher to restart the room, because by default, custom stages are included in the random selection pool. He would need to go into the random stage selection option in the rules setup and turn them off in order to allow people to choose random and never get a custom stage that way.

For an actual answer. Bravely Default II isn't connected to either of the 3DS games, plot-wise, so you can jump into this one if you want. However, I do think Bravely Second is better then Bravely Default II, but Bravely Second's a direct sequel to Bravely Default, (Yeah, I know it's confusing) so you'd have to play the first game to get the most out of Second.

Sorry, was not very well. Couldn't get online either. Won't be around for Smash either, BTW.

Drop Body Slam, start spamming Godspeed Strike instead.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: N64 & SEGA Mega Drive (& GBA!!)
Glen-i replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Hold up, where does Donkey Kong 64 lie then? I know it's made by Rare, but surely it's like Donkey Kong Country, and Ninty have full rights to it? EDIT: Ah right, yeah. I just remembered. It has a playable Jetpac in it. Never mind! Of course, NSO is better off without that pile of crap, but still. -
Man, don't get my hopes up, unless you're absolutely certain of it! Scarlet/Violet desperately needs some battle facilities. Having nothing, not even a basic Battle Tower is shambolic, and it's killing my desire to build some competitive teams because I've got no way to road test ideas.
-
Yeah, if that isn't LizardCube doing Shinonbi, I'll be shocked! Fits their MO to a tee. Long dormant Sega IP? Absolutely drop-dead gorgeous visuals? Yup, that's them. Not gonna lie though, I'm more hyped for Crazy Taxi. I hope that's good.

But wait! There's more! Next batch of Paid DLC is... An Among Us crossover? Baby, they've got the budget for animated cutscenes and collabs now! If you can't see the thumbnail, it comes out on the 18th of December for XBox and PC. Switch and Mobiles get it "soon".
