Then, I clearly never watched it out of pride. Definitely forgot about it by the time I got around to it.
-
I guarantee I finished it long before that became apparent. I played way too much Smash WiiU when it launched.
-
No good to me now, is it!? At least I can always say I did it without cheese.
-
Failing that, you can just use refill when the bottom right slot is empty, and you're guaranteed an event one.

Nope, I misunderstood. There's only 4 spirits for these 5 days. EDIT: Had a chuckle with how they did Xenoblade 3's Ouroboros. Clever.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: N64 & SEGA Mega Drive (& GBA!!)
Glen-i replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
What? Oh no... That's no good if it just uses the other person's file. -
Yep, it's fine as a completely optional "Total BS mode" but when the Challenge Board was brought in on Brawl, they locked a couple of things behind Cruel Smash. But hey, no big deal, just save your Golden Hammers for that. Phew! Except Smash WiiU's "8 Cruel Smash KO's as Lucina" can't be hammered! In hindsight, Smash WiiU was probably the entry that made me finally decent with Marth because of that. Silver linings, eh?

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: N64 & SEGA Mega Drive (& GBA!!)

Awwww yeah! Both at once!? So in! And I don't have to enter that password? Beautiful! Best way to play it! Can't wait to batter people on The Lost Age with double Sol Blade shenanigans! -
Man, this game feels great to control, so easy to look swag! That said, I kept getting hit all the time. That parry window is tight! There's loads of advanced movement tech that the demo never tells you. It's fantastic!
-
I've never played them, and even I know that there was a SNES one as well. Didn't realise there was a second Mega Drive one though.
-
Only in America, it seems. Just checked.

Welp, if there was ever a time to bust open the "gift" @Dcubed got me for Christmas 2022...
-
Anyone who has tried to 100% the challenge Board in Smash WiiU will have flashbacks about that one! Oh, and just looking it up, it's 8 opponents. Literal hell.
-
Hell no! Don't even own the game! It's one of those multiplayer focused games where I might as well just play @Dcubed's copy.
-
Even so, Kirby Air Ride is the debut of the Smash Bros. Challenge Board. As someone who still has flashbacks trying to beat 5 opponents in Cruel Smash with Lucina, you should know what you were getting into.
-
Ehhh... It's better then Super Mario Kart at least.
-
You've played Kirby games, you know how it is. Easy to complete, an absolute nightmare to 100%. This is familiar territory for Kirby games.
-
Yup, deffo giving that a try. It looks promising. All it needs is to not have stealth sections commandeer half the game, and it's already better then Metroid Dread.

Player's Choice tonight at 8pm.
-
Bugger, it's once a day? I might not be able to get the ones on Monday then...
-
It's all fun and games until you play Mario Sunshine, though.
-
Literally hurt myself a bit laughing at that!
-
Bugger! I keep forgetting that Platinum came out before the Johto remakes! That said, X and Y still has the best battle system, to date. The rest of the game is mediocre, but the battle mechanics are top notch! Inverse battles are great fun, and Mega Evolution is still best-in-class for battle gimmicks.

Absolutely, the beginning of the golden era of Pokémon games, this and the next 3 mainline entries. HeartGold/SoulSilver in particular are remakes that don't compromise on anything that the original games have while bringing said games up to date (By Generation 4 standards), and adding lots of cool new features. I particularly like that it fleshes out the Kanto section to be a bit less bare, now that it's not limited by lack of space in a Game Boy cartridge. Future remakes would start cutting content from the improved third versions of games, which will always bug me. Hard to call them definitive versions when the originals have more things in it.
