  1. So it's the same type as Klefki? Great... If it's half as infuriating as that thing, I'm gonna hate it with a passion.
  2. Mario Kart League 2016

Oh right! Forgot to declare my inness! IN!
  3. Star Fox Zero

See, I'm the complete opposite. Star Fox 64 just sounds so lazy after being used to Lylat Wars for so long. Starwing is an awful name though. That I agree with.
  4. Bravely Second

  5. I still play Nintendo Land, mostly because of my community center work. 5 player Mario Chase is a definite favourite. The Zelda game gets a lot of time as well. Also secretly has the best Ridley remix ever.
  6. POLL: home console Pokémon game?

I dunno, B/W looked pretty sweet, pixelation aside.
  7. POLL: home console Pokémon game?

Now, that would look a bit better. Art style always trumps raw graphics for me. And Pokemon just doesn't suit realistic settings, no matter how many sophisticated shaders you add to them. But that still wouldn't solve the major issue of no portability. I know the majority of people here game at home, but I don't, public transport is always a good time to boot up a game. And I can't be the only one in the world who likes Pokemon to be on a portable console. Sure, you get prettier graphics and all, but I don't care. It's Pokemon. No-one plays Pokemon for graphics! Sure, it would have more integrated online features, but what good does that do me? I barely have online access and I hate battling online. I'd be playing a Pokemon MMORPG by myself, how lonely is that?
  8. Fire Emblem Awakening

Permadeath being optional was just the right decision for this series, business wise. It definitely helped to boost the sales.
  9. Nope, absolutely not. I don't even have online access where I live, so it'd be an utter waste of money for me.
  10. But what if they were completely optional and didn't affect the actual power of the console? What would be the downside then?
  11. For the majority, pretty much. I'm more concerned about my controllers not being able to be used on the NX. Backwards Compatability, I can give or take, but it would be very convenient and beneficial for the old controllers to be compatible.
  12. But that would suck, what if this NX Smash has new characters and stages? You wouldn't believe the amount of excitement that these kids had whenever a new character was added through DLC. It was mental! I'll never forget the week Bayonetta was released. 8 people all choosing Bayonetta, and none of them had ever played the actual game Bayonetta. There is very little that is as funny as 8 people trying to learn a new character all at once. Once again, I'm an isolated incident. I understand that, but ditching easy to implement Bluetooth Controllers just because the "Wii brand is toxic" or "it's too confusing!" seems a bit of an overreaction. As long as using non-NX controllers remains completely optional, why should it be an issue?
  13. I really hope they don't ditch the controller support. Once a week, I take my WiiU down to the local community center and a whole bunch of kids come along and play games. Mostly 8-player Smash Bros. It's great, and it provides a place for kids to get together with their friends and play games in the same room, which is always the best way to play multiplayer. The only reason I'm able to do this is because of the wide variety of controllers I have access to. I have the Gamepad, my 3DS and 3 Wiimotes. Some of the kids are comfortable with the Wiimote on it's own, others prefer the Classic Controller, which I have 2 of. Oh, and because of the success of the Wii, it's very easy for some of the kids to bring their Wiimotes, quickly bumping up the controllers to 8. Take away that controller support, and that plummets to 1. And if Smash 4 gets ported to NX with new content (That's a hypothetical), then the only way to get 8 people playing with everything it offers is... 1. Buy 7 more controllers (Very expensive for me) 2. Hope some of those kids get an NX (Completely up to chance) And even if that happens, what about the players who like using the Wiimote? It's unfair on them. Sure, I may be an isolated incident, but I'd be a bit bummed if the controllers were dropped.
  14. Hyrule Warriors 3DS

Yeah, it's really strange. I have no idea what could have caused it. Still, it's nice that it probably wasn't an issue with my 3DS after all.
  15. Hyrule Warriors 3DS

Adventure mode is very daunting. The best way is to just take it one step at a time. Don't go for everything at once, you'll just get more confused. Here's a few tips. - Finish Legend mode first, the characters and weapons there can only be unlocked in Legend Mode. The reverse is also true, you can't get Adventure Mode characters in Legend Mode. - Item cards (Bombs, candles, etc.) are used to reveal secrets on the map. For example, if you visit a square, and the top screen says "Search Required", that means you'll need to use the correct item card on the correct space to reveal the reward. - Have you played Zelda 1? A lot of the secrets on this map are in the same place as the original game. Failing that, you can just use a compass to reveal where an item should be used, it won't tell you what item you need though, so careful. - If you're really lazy, you can always just look up this handy-dandy guide! (Rows are represented by letters, numbers represent columns. So for example, A-1 would be the top-left square) - Remember, the goal is to find and defeat the dark ruler. You don't have to complete every square. It's easy to forget this. - Despite the last point, I do recommend going for all the weapons/characters. You'll need them later, and more weapons and characters = more fun! - If a mission is giving you trouble, try something else, you'll be amazed at what a bit of experience can do for you. - Try and keep every character roughly around the same level. Yes, we all like how fun Linkle is, but there's going to be a mission where it forces you to play as Ruto, and she'll need all the help she can get! About the 3DS My Fairy feature. When you get to a square that shows a fairy icon on the Treasures section, that means there's a "My Fairy" fairy hidden there. To find it, you'll need to channel your inner Link and smash up brown pots in enemy keeps. They're placed near the walls in those keeps, you can't miss them. Sooner or later, you'll find one (Fairy food is also found in this way). Do not be confused by fairy icons on the map, these are fairies that dispel barriers. While they are useful, they are not the same thing. If there's anything else that confuses you, feel free to ask.
  16. Hyrule Warriors 3DS

Are you talking about the framerate? That happened to me once. But I just turned the 3DS off, then rebooted it, and it ran normally again.
  17. It's nothing against Emily, just that bit on it's own makes me think twice. It's just a little bit unbelievable to me. Could be proven wrong of course, but I'm still very skeptical.
  18. Your 2016 Gaming Diary

You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse I got Super Mario World on the New 3DS VC (Mainly because I got Earthbound for half price with it) I actually played this last year, so I'll just copy-paste my thoughts from that thread, because I still think the same thing. Yep, thoroughly uninformative. And I still hate Tubular. And with that...
  19. POLL: home console Pokémon game?

You see, I'm not sure how I should vote. I mean, I probably would buy it, but it's not as simple as that for me. Would this, for example, mean that the portable versions no longer exist? Portability is a major factor for my Pokemon experience. The thought of playing traditional Pokemon on a home console makes me very sad and if this would be the direction the series go (IF! It's just a hypothetical). Then it would lose a major selling point. Online battles don't appeal to me one bit, people who have far too much time on their hands (Or just blatantly cheat) using the same boring old teams over and over again. Oh, and seeing Pokemon models in super realistic areas just looks silly. Completely breaks any kind of realism it's trying to go for. So I vote no, out of principle.
  20. Could Pokémon work on a home console?

If it's Game Freak alone doing it, nope. They can't even get ORAS to run well on a 3DS. I wouldn't trust them to make a decent performing game on a home console. I'm not sure I would be happy. Half the reason I play the Pokemon games as much as I do is because of the portability. So yes, people who play Pokemon out and about do exist. I always end up getting those third versions and if it turned out this one was home console only, there's a high chance I wouldn't play it nearly as much as I normally do. Pokemon is the kind of game I just like to whip out while on Public Transport and play for a bit. I'd lose that with a home console version. And if that has all the neat third version features. I'd feel a bit short-changed.
  21. Wii U General Discussion

This joke is really making it's way around, huh? I might have to add a second definition to "Dazzybee" in the N-Europe dictionary...
  22. Mario Kart League 2016

Awww... You thought you were gonna win that last Rainbow Road race and squeak out a GP win, @The Mole? It was a finish fit for a dirty cheater! And speaking of dirty cheaters... @Dcubed! The hell!? I hit you one time on N64 Rainbow Road and you proceed to go on one epic vengeance for the rest of the first GP! Chill out! Great night! That bike was truly awful though. Unfortunately not, but I did see @Dcubed do the exact same thing. Hilarious.
  23. Need Europe 3DS Owner to Help Me Get My Flipnotes!!

Hey there. Welcome to the forums. I managed to find your flipnotes. You were right, you can't access it with an American 3DS. But I can't convert locked Flipnotes to AVI with just your Hatena ID. I would need the password as well to do that. EDIT: Oh wait, you just want the files on your Flipnote Studio 3D? Well, either way, I still need the password to get the locked ones.
