How do you tackle enemies? Chances are, it's nowhere near as creative as this guy. Fair warning, there is a very minor spoiler of the end of a side quest. Nothing huge, just the last bits of dialogue before a reward. But just putting it out there. Anyway, I got to 36 shrines, but that was before I realised I was getting a Switch way sooner than I expected. (Thanks again @S.C.G ) So I'm gonna use the 50 quid Amazon voucher I got for Christmas to get Zelda and play Zelda on the Bus, Zelda on the Train, Zelda in my house, Zelda in your house, and most importantly, Zelda on the loo! In case anyone's interested, registration for the next Online Competition has started. Entering gets you a Pidgeotite and a Steelixite early. While I'm at it, if you entered the one in Feburary, you can claim your Mega Stones through the Global Link website. This competition is the Kanto X Alola competition. As the name suggests, you're allowed to use the first 149 Pokemon (Mewtwo and Mew are banned, obviously) as well as any Pokemon available in Pokemon Sun/Moon. Single Battle Format. I'm going with a team of Zapdos, Nidoking, Machamp, Tapu Koko, Alolan Marowak and Dragonite this time. Tapu Koko and Marowak served me well last month, so I'll see if they can do the same again. Anyway, the main reason I'm mentioning my team is because if anyone would like to be a sparring partner for my team so I can see how my strategy holds up, I'm open for a battle. I was looking through the news on the Global Link website and there was something about a login issue being resolved recently. I don't know if it's the problem you had, but it might be worth trying again. Speaking of Global Link... @Serebii, do you know how I can get the Mega Stones for the February tournament? I looked in the news section but there was nothing there, cue me clicking on all sorts of pages looking for them.

I'd imagine so. My guess (And it's only a guess) is that it's something you select while choosing your Character/Kart Setup. Much like how you could select Automatic Drifting in Mario Kart Wii.

This is a major detail. You wouldn't be able to pull off a lot of shortcuts with steering assist. So that sorts any balancing issues out, the people who turn it off will be able utilise shortcuts to get ahead. Knowing that, I'm all in favour of this feature. I tried bringing Mario Kart 8 to the kids at my local community centre and less than a quarter of them managed to control themselves without crashing every few seconds. They weren't having much fun. Thankfully, Smash saved the day. 8 player smash always guarantees fun. Hopefully, Steering Assist will help them out.

OK, that first sentence was easy to guess. eShop refers to the whole "buying digital games" thing. Wanna buy a digital game. Wanna download a game on a Ninty console. You go to eShop. Downloading Super Mario 3D World, for example. Virtual Console is the name that refers to games emulated from past consoles. Super Mario 64 on the Wii/WiiU is a Virtual Console title. They all tend to have the same standard features. (Suspend saves, Restore Points, stuff like that)

For me, that applies to every single one of his posts. It's actually quite fun to guess now and again.

I'm playing through Final Fantasy IX on Steam with an XBone controller and I'm having the exact same problem with X and Y. That Sword Fight minigame was hell to get perfect on.

I think I'm siding with @Grazza on this one. But I'm not upset really, because about a year or so ago, I told myself "Glen, you're a devishlly handsome chap and this is gonna be a Zelda game in name only" And so far, I'm half right. I went into this telling myself this isn't gonna be a Zelda game, and I'm fine with that. I wasted hours wasting time exploring both Xenoblades, this is right up my alley. Hell, Hyrule Warriors is closer to traditional Zelda than BotW. But to it's credit, it's an actual departure from the norm, unlike Pokemon Sun/Moon.

Yeah, it's creepy how well they work. Sword Fight is a good showcase of how well it works, felt very realistic. Catwalk is the best game though, provided you've got the room.

Yep, that title theme is still very funny. It's so forced and clumsy, it brings a massive smile to my face listening to it. I kinda wanna mod it to the Castle Siege stage in Smash.
