Yep, far too Japanese to appeal over in the West. Didn't help that Level 5 did the typical Level 5 thing of running a series into the ground very quickly. The biggest factor for me losing interest in Yokai Watch was the lack of control I had over actual fights. A JRPG where I'm limited in how I can influence battles? I nope'd right out of that after the demo. A shame really, I quite liked the concept.

That's fine. I'd rather people join in whenever they can. Because it's more mental and fun that way. For what it's worth, I'm still gonna put the whole table up at the end of the year regardless of attendance. But there'll be a second table that cuts the low attendees out, which will be the official end results. That way, you can still compare your averages to everyone else at the end of the year.

No, you're right, you do have to run into them in Hyrule Warriors to pick them up. I don't expect them to bring over the QoL improvements FE had for Hyrule Definitive. Love to be proven wrong though.

I played it for the visuals, stayed for the old school gameplay. Something about the momentum based movement and moderate challenge really clicked for me.

Why Swablu of all Pokémon? I'll never understand Pokémon Go's logic where Altaria is apparently the same high value as Gyarados and Drowzee's are annoyingly common... As a Pokémon Expert, it makes no sense.

Oh, BTW. The update added video capture support. And for some reason, it doesn't force you to hashtag the game title...

I'm of a similar opinion when it comes to single player. Thankfully, you can play through pretty much the entire game without CPU helpers. If you ever need CPU's to progress, there's always a respawning enemy for you to friend. As soon as they do what you need them to do, you can just hold Y near them and "unfriend" (Actual in-game term) them. You're then free to carry on. The only thing playing solo stops you from doing is mixing copy abilities.
