N-Europe's Top 10 (Voting over, check first post for results)
Glen-i replied to Glen-i's topic in Nintendo Gaming
But my issue is I got bored with it. -
Well, yep. I'm probably buying that. Always want more Shantae games. After all, she's good enough to be referenced in Smash Bros.
-
Woah, hold up! It's turn-based? Might be the first SteamWorld game I'm interested in.

Done. -
As someone who has been working his way through the Final Fantasies in order... Play 7. The others are too obnoxiously devious with it's hidden extras for it to be fun for newcomers. 10 is also a good suggestion. I found it pretty fun, but do note that it plays more similarly to the NES games and isn't really a good indicator for how much you might enjoy the PS1 games. Secret best answer is get a SNES Mini and play 6.

For what it's worth, Mega Man 2 is the only one I actually finished. I got bored with Mega Man 3 about halfway through. -
I actually did that... For every unit... And got all their stats maxed... Don't look at me like that!

As much as I love @drahkon getting annoyed (almost as much as him getting drunk), I can't deny that Necrodancer is a really good rhythm game. Even if it is really hard. It is absolutely genius how they've gotten two radically different genres, put them together and not made it a complete and utter mess. I have always been meaning to get it.

N-Europe's Top 10 (Voting over, check first post for results)

OK, the nominations are all tallied up. The shortlist consists of 22 games that all got at least 2 nominations. So it's time to get the Final Voting going. Just as a reminder... Voting must be done via Private Messages sent to me. This will help to prevent any possible tactical voting. Everyone must choose 3 games to vote for. They also must be ordered from favourite to third favourite. It'd be great if you could explain why you chose a game in the PM. I can then use these in the article that will go up on the N-Europe front page. I reserve the right to both use and not use someone's reasons why they chose a game. I will abstain from these votes and act as a tiebreaker. If two games tie, I'll decide which game comes out on top. Here's an example of the kind of thing I'm looking for when you send your votes to me. The Fun Game series got robbed... You don't have to give a reason for voting if you don't want to, and they can be longer than that example, as long as it's clear which games you're placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Games will get 3, 2 or 1 point depending on where they are placed in your vote. Voting closes on Saturday 30th March. Oh, and Captain Obvious moment here, but keep your actual votes secret, you're free to talk about the games on the shortlist, but not which ones you actually voted for. I'm also gonna add a link to this post on the opening post for future reference. -
There were a few hiccups when you joined, sure. But nothing I couldn't cope with. I've had far, far worse playing with random people.
-
You know it's funny because it's true. @Dcubed, I had a look at what you said over there. Why would you say that? You know ResetEra are very sensitive about people saying bad things. Don't tease them like that.
-
No, I don't wanna! @Dcubed has it and I don't think I'd enjoy it very much.
-
Precisely. No doubting Halo has some historical clout, but a Nintendo platform doesn't really serve that well.

Just a final reminder that today is the final day to get your NES game nominations in. The shortlist will be posted tomorrow. -
There you go @drahkon, will you shut up about me not buying it now!?
-
OK, yeah, I just realised that there's a better way to level the playing field. So disregard that. Instead, I'll just do a similar recalculation to the normal one. Team Glen-i's score will be divided by 3, then multiplied by 4. With that in mind, here's the scores. It doesn't count the bonuses from your team winning a GP. @Dcubed manages to hold onto top place and proves that Toadette is better than Toad. So that solves that question. Next week is a Players Choice night... with a twist. Shut up, it'll be fun! Next League Night: 28th March 8pm Room 1: @BowserBasher is host @Glen-i @BowserBasher @viceview51 @martinist @RedShell As you've probably noticed, each GP will use one of the altered rulesets from the past three weeks. Think of it like a final exam. Or don't, it doesn't matter either way. Sign up Now!

A few highlights from me.
-
Thanks for the matches everyone. I'm done for the night.
-
Room's open now.

But Samus already has an echo fighter... Real talk though. That would be a kinda weak pick for Microsoft's first Smash character. Hardcore Nintendo fans won't care and I haven't met a single kid who knows who that is.
-
Quoting for the new page.
-
OK, here's the teams. I'm on my mobile so no fancy formatting. @BowserBasher predicted that most people would choose to be on my team. He was incorrect. So he gets moved to my team as punishment. Now, assuming no-one else joins in, I should make this clear. The team with more members will have the lowest scorer discounted from the team score each race. This is to make sure that it's fair, obviously. It only affects the team score. Team Toadette (Red Team) @Dcubed @RedShell @martinist @viceview51 Team Toad (Blue Team) @Glen-i @S.C.G @BowserBasher

You need Reveal to finish the game. So it's good that you got it.

I'd agree with you, if it wasn't for Sakurai being an absolute mad man who generally just does his own thing. It's why we're blessed with the likes of Wii Fit Trainer, Mr. Game & Watch, Duck Hunt Duo and Piranha Plant. It's gonna depend on whether he goes for the historical aspect with Banjo or if he'll chase after the more relevant route with Steve. It's impossible to tell. As for the "Getting something out of it" My question is, does Minecraft need the boost? I remember it being pretty successful on Switch. Now, a theoretical Rare Replay port on the other hand could really benefit from the Smash effect (Patent pending) if they make it clear that "Look, Banjo's games are here! You should try them"
