Finished this today, loved every minute excusing the odd bit of boss rage of course. I ended up level 88 with a 10+ Holy Blade as my weapon of choice.

Well played @Fierce_LiNk two bosses in a day, bet you're glad you stuck at it now. Yeah, the woods can be disorientating but are worth exploring as rewards can be found. As for me, I've beaten over the last few days.

Took a break from the main game and did some Chalice Dungeons yesterday, completed 3, quite addictive and I got a Chalice boss armour set become available at the insight messengers which was pretty cool. Need some more ritual materials now.

Found my first Oath/Covenant yesterday, involved a pretty tough fight but was worth it as it gave me access to some awesome gear!

Not yet, been to engrossed in the main game, will check them out soon. You getting any decent rewards from them? @Shorty summed this boss up perfectly!

Ha, took refuge thinking you're safe and it ends up being a boss, talk about out of the flames and into the fire! Props for doing it first time though, took me a couple of tries that boss.

Seems I've followed suit, I'm completely lost in the Forbidden Woods, I'll keep exploring though.

Game is great, beat the second boss this morning and I'm really getting my timing down with parry/riposte, feels good. Currently exploring the next area for more loot.

My first hour... Got the hang of it now though and I'm enjoying the change in gameplay compared to the Souls games. I've beaten the first boss and have opened up some shortcuts, also found some nice items along the way and now I've just reached the second boss but I think I'll tackle him tomorrow, amazing game!

I'm wondering what will happen with Kojima and Del Toros Silent Hills now? The P.T demo was outstanding last year, would be a shame if that project ended up dead.

I found the Souls games to be very much about patience, if you're willing to learn you're enemies/bosses attack patterns and movements you'll progress through the game fine, you'll still die but every death will teach you something for when you face them the next time. However, If you try to hack and slash your way through a Souls game you'll have a very bad time indeed and will die a lot which will definitely lead to frustration.

I'm in day one, love the souls games and challenge they offer, can't wait!

I had this problem as well and it took some practice in the skatepark to solve it. First I mastered the trick I wanted to do on its own and then started trying it off the rails and found if you perform the trick a good bit before the rail ends you'll start doing it every time, if you wait to the end of the rail you'll just do an Ollie. Also if the trick requires L1 or R1 keep them held down or you wont perform the trick you want, hope this makes sense and helps.

Played this a fair bit over the weekend and absolutely love it, it's definitely a 'just one more go' type of game. I've completed most of the amateur challenges but the difficulty certainly ramps up on the titan sky levels, not sure what's gonna break first, my thumbs or the sticks on my DS4 trying to pull off these tricks and challenges! @RedShell get some thumb grips for your DS4, saves you wearing out the sticks on your controller.
