  1. How good is spotify's music collection?

I was thinking of buying a subscription, but i'd want a trial or something first.

EDIT: Just found out you need an invitation code for the ad supported version, anyone got a code i could have please?

It's great! i use it everyday and me and my friends share playlists of our favourite tracks and they update them when they add new ones! Though I registered back when it wasnt closed, nowadays the only way to get an invitation code is from someone who has paid for it as they get one.

If no one has one, I can say its worth paying for a month and then using that account or the invite for yourself to get yourself an account.

  2. And you're like the guy at parties who won't stop talking about how much he hates parties.

I'm also intending to try out the new Alicia Keys, Goldfrapp, Broken Bells albums this week as well as N.E.R.D.'s Seeing Sounds and The Presets' Beams and Apocalypso this week. So its not all fun..

But I had been waiting five years for last week, so I think I'm allowed to be elated :heh:

Yeah too right! So constructive MUSIC feedback guys!

On the same-ish note started listening to "Seahorses!" and its got the whole "Eisley" voice but much MUCH more upbeat! awesome!

Which reminds me on a similar note!

Got an offer for my first choice to study the BPTC at city law school!

    Eeee!:yay:

  4. Damn. I was hoping to go through the whirl islands at my own pace. I never really liked that area, which is perhaps why I never went after lugia in silver.

I loved lugia from the original! sleek looking bird unlike the giant fire chicken! that and ice beam psychic on it was teh sex

  5. No offence, but the Pokemon on the front of the box should be evidence enough which you fight first.

There is nothing wrong with a bit of harmless questioning..

on another another @ serebii: was trying to surf around on your forums and I think its being slammed caus it is so slow to loaadd

  6. Been doing an essay on children's welfare rights vs parent's right to family. Set myself a limit of 500 words a day and I've been making good progress on it :) only.... 70 words left for today!

Though seriously.... I just dont care enough about family law, I dont even want to practice in it... le sigh

  7. If the iPad has the equivalent of jailbreaking, I might get it.....

...... in 2 generations time.......+ for the guts of the iphone I am not paying their asking price.

    Otherwise a laptop does everything.

    Enuff said.

  8. I prefer Ultramon because of the Smart Taskbar, which means if you drag a window from screen 1 to screen 2, the taskbar button goes with it. It also adds "switch window" and "stretch to extended width" buttons to the window and the right-click menu of the taskbar button (which can be moved above the close button if it annoys you like it annoyed me).

Also I have been using Ultramon for years and honestly can't think of a single time it has ever crashed. I used it at work every single day and without it everything would take much longer!

That said, I have never used Display Fusion so who knows, it might be better :)

    (doubt it)

To be honest DisplayFusion does all that! but I dont exactly work for them so pick whichever! It is most likely going to come down to the cost of the program *cough*

  9. Try ebay! they have adapters for like dirt cheap! but make sure you get the correct "gender" male / female to male/ female. Holes = female and pins = male.

Good luck with the dual monitor! I've got a 19" and a 24" setup and I swear by them! :)

ps: get Displayfusion (its better than ultramon, crashes less *i've used both*)

  11. My g/f's driving instructor has told her to use low gears as much as possible when driving in ice, including starting off. This is the opposite of what I do, and what I've been lead to believe, which is that less torque from a higher gear helps you maintain control and reduces spinning in icy conditions.

What do you guys think? Is her driving instructor wrong? Or does he have valid reasons to think that?

I was always told and have done to start the car in like 2nd instead of first! since the sudden starting motion is not as extreme and slower with 2nd
