    Anyone know roughly when this iPhone is coming out because my phone is at death's door and I want to upgrade to this?

     

    Think there is going to be a conference for the OS4 and new iphone in july.

    Can someone tell me WHY THE FUCK I can't catch Lugia? I've reset the game at least 13 times now, each time using 20 Ultra balls with no luck. Gotten him down to 1HP with False Swipe and Paralysis every time and it rarely wobbles more than once, let alone finally catching. What the hell is going on? I don't want to use my Master Ball but I've spent at least 3 hours trying to catch this bastard Pokemon.

     

    I caught Ho-oh after using a dusk ball as well! I threw so many ultra balls.. but nothign worked... and duskball worked first time..

    Oh god I remember that. It was horrible to read it. It was like trying to read a text message from a mentally delinquent 13 year old chav with no arms.

     

    I'm sure they're trying to get a point across but don't actually write like that. If you're going to write a bloody poem, use the language accurately.

     

    Apparently poets have some artistic licence or whatever which means they can even spell incorrectly and still be "right"

    Planning to finally go check out Kick-Ass later and fall in line with everyone else praising the hell out of it. I also ate a sausage sandwich which was pretty damn great.

     

    So hyped for the Evangelion 1.11 Blu Ray hitting shops tomorrow. Hope my local HMV has copies of their exclusive instore otherwise it's questin' time into London for a looksie around up there. My local town has been gutted of DVD/entertainment stores after Woolies and Zavvi closed down.

     

    Might pick up Avatar too if I can find a decent price instore. Have DVD versions of films replaced digital copies in Blu Rays? It's about time they did.

     

    asda are doing the dvd version for £8!!

    Considering all the bikes in Oxford, I couldn't find a bike shop in the city centre. I didn't look hard though to be fair.

     

    Oxford has a better attractive/beast ratio than Banbury.

     

    There are about 3 quite good bike shops in Cowley, Oxford like just over magdalen bridge.

     

    I agreed with the ratio! mmmmm the sun brings them out...

    I feel like I should do something today, but I feel more like a lazy Saturday. Been ages since I've had one. Spent the morning leisurely drawing while watching random stuff on TV (debate, that thing on Rome etc). Been nice to kick back a bit.

    Since I got the go ahead from the physio! Went to the gym like a freak at 9am! Was scared they were going to be not open!

    Managed to do close to my old routine which isnt bad considering I've not touched a gym since November XD.

    Downloaded 2 eps of Full Metal Alchemist and got a rissotto sitting in the pan fluffing up :)

    • I have a weird bug. Basically whenever I click the left stick to run either my turret is deployed of I switch weapon (as well as run). It's REALLY fucking annoying and pretty much makes the game unplayable. Anyone come across this or know how to fix it?
       
      Have you tried switching control schemes to see if it kicks it out of that?
       
      • I was trapped as a beserker INSIDE a boss one time... was totally like WTF! but I took advantage of it anyways and punched away!
      • (nb: using electric artifact lags the game as beserker...)
      • first playthrough; activating the warp system glitched the sky. Everytime either of us looks in the general direction it would become an epileptic disco
      • fell through lifts multiple times SO FRUSTRATION

    Micro sim is just a regular sim card with some of the card cart back. .

     

    -allow for multiple simultaneous applications accessing the card through logical channels;

    -introduce mutual authentication as a way to eliminate carrier spoofing by allowing the SIM card to authenticate the cell tower to which it is connecting;

    -add a new PIN protection with hierarchical PIN management with a universal PIN, an application PIN and a local PIN;

    -expand the phonebook storage of the SIM card with entries for email, second name, and groups.

     

    But also I've read that people have cut back their original sim card to microsim sizes and got it to work with the ipad. I assume its similar for the iphone.

    I'm not on an iPhone tariff. Neither are a lot of iPhone users. Apple get a cut of the line rental on every iPhone tariff. This means Apple are losing out on money from me and everyone else who is dodging iPhone-specific tariffs. The cynic in me thinks that Micro-SIMs will only be issued to users on iPhone tariffs, being used as a way to stop users "stealing" Apple's revenue.

     

    Still, I could be pleasantly surprised...

     

    That's pretty much true... tbh I mean beyond Apple tax there is always apple interest in owning an apple device...

     

    On the other hand I had a look over at engadget apparently it allows " storage space on-chip for provider applications, increased control and security functions"

    How would that work? If your current iPhone contract is up they can't stop you just getting the new iPhone on a new contract?

     

    Depends on really who is authorised to sell the new iphone. Considering they probably made a bundle from partnering with O2 they may try that stunt again.

     

    Plus some wont supply your with a sim if they know its for an iphone caus its data intensive.

    • Went to pick up a book from the library which I reserved 4 months AGO at the beginning of uni and only NOW its become free
    • Watched an episode of Soul Eater *sqee*
    • Had Carrot soup and some OJ
