Amazon Have swiftly adjusted the release date for Twilight Princess from Novemeber to a definit May 15th release. Hmmm, rather interesting. Could Nintendo really be pulling a fast release of the title as a surprise?? I don't know. We should find out next Tuesday. No, I think from the comparison I showed here (3/4 the way down the page) that it can be seen that the buldge underneath the receiver will not allow the unit to fit into a controller socket. Also, since then, I have realised that the receiver has a distinct contuor on the connector side to fit the GCN, which it will not fit around the Revolution. EDIT: I should add to that that this is of course assuming the design of the console doesn't change.

Why necessarily connect the postcard with Nintendo? Sony's press conference is the same day. After Konami's, or Kojima's for that matter, work on GameCube, or lack of, I'm not holding my breath. Konami and Sony are sex buddies.

Because it's a custom chip, I wonder if it even has anything to do with Direct X. With Nintendo, I'd assume that it most likely uses its own drivers.

I'm pretty sure Direct X belongs to Microsoft. That was the whole incentive for 'Xbox'. It was a box that plays games based on Direct X. Sound familiar? Uncreative wanks.

Hmm, at the moment, life's not so great. I'm in my first year of Uni, and am really struggling in the biological subjects. Not sure if I should even be at Uni. My parents are divorced, have been for 15 or so years, quite fantastic really. Had one screwed over upbringing because of it. Dad tried really hard, mother dearest just didn't seem to care. Have a couple of assignments to do, still have a couple of weeks, but meh. And now I have learned that mother dearest has a 'boyfriend'. And I am to meet the basterd on Saturday. Perhaps I should give mother dearest a shock and tell her that I have a boyfriend. See how she handles that.

There were rumours flying around of 7.1 inclusion. I seriously hope 5.1 makes it, because it sounds fantastic. I went and bought myself a brand new surround sound system at the beginning of last year solely for Twilight Princess. I know it's only Pro Logic II, but still. Having the Revolution support 5.1 would be wonderful. The question remains however, where is the optical port? Unless Nintendo includes coaxial in the proprietary out socket...
