As my job requires people to work rotating bank holidays, I'll be getting a 4 day weekend this weeked, but next weekend is my working weekend so i'm working next friday. But i'm off the following monday and have booked the rest of the week off so all's good.

Right, not sure if this is the right place but i have a bit of a problem that arised today when browsing the forums. Everytime I click on any link on the forum it decides to give me the 'N-europe Lite' setup. Now this is fine on my iphone, but i hate it on my laptop and it won't go away! I've tried changing the templates and logging in and out (simple stuff). Anyone else having an issue?

Love the Foo Fighters! They've never released a bad album in my eyes, although I do tend to only listen to half of every album for some reason. From what I've heard of this album so far, it seems to be really good once again. White Limo and Rope are really good, although Rope is being a bit overplayed on the 'ol radio.

I should've mentioned that I do know about homebrew I just don't do it, for some reason, nothing against it. At the risk of looking hypocritical, whilst I don't intend to buy an NTSC Wii...I do actually have an NTSC SNES, so i can import the original, although I have heard good things about the DS remake!

Viva Pinata is the only post Nintendo Rare game that I've enjoyed and I'm guessing it'll be the last. Some of the elite Rare members now work for Crytek UK aka Free Radical before it went bust and with rumours of Timesplitters 4 being announced, as long as they don't do another Haze it's all good. I doubt we'll ever see platformers quite like Rare's again though, Retro Studios' efforts are as close as we're going to get.

I'd be satisfied if the Wii wasn't bloody region locked. And no i'm not buying an NTSC Wii, I don't have room! Really hoping both Xenoblade and The Last Story get European releases, but with the DS' track record with rpgs I won't hold my breath.

Loving the Zero Punctuation review. You pretty much knew he wasn't going to like pokemon with his track record of generally hating rpgs. Don't take him seriously and he's a good laugh, plus he has a point most of the time.

The Sun is full of shit, but the 3DS headache stories that they keep publishing really makes me angry. Not only are they making it up, but thousands of gullible people seem to take what The Sun says as gospel. Although I can't say it surprises me, their gaming page is terrible, the only reviewer who is worse than there's is that guy from CNN.

Really? The Playstation controller's analogue sticks are in the prime place, right where your thumbs would be when holding it. I also find it easier to switch between the d-pad and the analogue sticks on the Playstation controllers.

Got this game thursday and have played it pretty much solid since. Just finished catching all the legendaries in White version, beat the elite four and have a party of 60s consisting of: - Serperior - Klinklang - Vanilluxe - Swanna (fly and surf) - Reuniclus - Chandelure I now plan to get those all to level 100 and thrash the elite four again. Haven't had a full party of lv100s since Ruby so will be interesting.

I seemed to be the same unfortunately :/ I can totally see that Monster Hunter Tri is a great game, it's just not for me. I'll still be getting this to see what it's like though, wasn't expecting that announcement at all!

It's hard to say which franchise has 'never' let me down, because almost all of my favourite franchises have let me down at least once. Sunshine was a bit disappointing, Mario Kart Wii was a let down, Animal Crossing: City Folk was a bit poor, etc. I suppose Zelda is the most consistent, but for me the Super Smash Brothers series has never let me down, even with the 'clone' characters.

^ You hit the nail on the head. Buying stuff instore, you have it, you get home, you play it. Buying online, you have to wait for delivery, you're potentially out when the postman gets there...etc It's like this coming thursday. It's payday, I would rather like Pokemon White, so after work i'll go to the nearest Tesco Extra and buy it, go home and play it.

There's hardly anywhere but HMV where I can buy the music I listen to, I've always liked HMV. And GAME isn't that bad.

Neat little game this. Played through all the missions usually getting 2 and 3 stars with a few 1 stars and one horrible 0 starred mission. I hate the rocket belt suit as it is, let alone trying to hit moving balloons in midair! Playing through the free flight mode now, addicted to trying to find everything. Definately an excellent launch title, although I must admit i'm not using the 3d as i don't find it to work so well on this game for some reason.
