  1. Wii U and 3DS Gaming Bargains

Bayonetta 2 Special Edition for £34.75 at Gameseek: http://www.gameseek.co.uk/pd/VideoGamesh2ma4j6uzq/ Use this code at checkout for the £2 off: 2354682 I cancelled my pre-order at Base.com and jumped on this deal instead!
  2. Fantasy Life (26th Sept)

I only got round to starting it last night, got going as a Paladin. The music is surprisingly good. Graphics are a bit simple but the colour scheme is nice and vibrant. Will a multiplayer thread be started for this game?
  3. Fantasy Life (26th Sept)

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, VideoGameBox have it for a bit cheaper if you use the code FBFAN5 at checkout. Works out at £26.41. http://www.videogamebox.co.uk/Fantasy_Life_3DS_p/20130654121.htm Eurogamer's review for Fantasy Life is up: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-09-24-fantasy-life-review Not very glowing, but the article seems to get a bit confusing beyond the second paragraph.
  4. Fantasy Life (26th Sept)

Reviews for this have been surprisingly good so far. Enough to convince me to buy a copy. Origin Island DLC looks to be quite dear at £7.19: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=898013 Cheapest physical version is available at VideoGameBox for £26.41 if you use the voucher code FBFAN5: http://www.videogamebox.co.uk/Fantasy_Life_3DS_p/20130654121.htm
  5. Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call (3DS)

Tesco despatched my copy of Collector's Edition earlier today. Likely to arrive early next week. Oh well, got it for a good price thanks to some vouchers. I possess the first game but haven't played it yet. Should I give it a go before diving into 'Curtain Call'?
  6. Wii U and 3DS Gaming Bargains

Could be a re-print...although Nintendo aren't known for doing that sort of thing all that often. Or they just found a big crate of them in a dusty warehouse - Indiana Jones-style. Anyway, great deal! Was kicking myself for missing out when GAME had the Xenoblade+Red Controller edition at £9.99 during some random Winter sale.
  7. Wii U and 3DS Gaming Bargains

Project X Zone going for £11.86 at ShopTo. Superb price. That's a lot of gaming hours for (almost) pocket change. http://www.shopto.net/3ds-2ds-ds/3ds/3DSPR04-project-x-zone Edit: Noticed that it was on Back-order a few minutes after posting this!
  8. Wii U and 3DS Gaming Bargains

There's a 3 for £20 special offer for some 3DS games over at Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000770403 Not the most modern of selections, but it includes Star Fox 64 3D, Resident Evil: Revelations, Castlevania: Mirror Of Fate, Steel Diver and Rhythm Thief.
  9. Deus Ex: Human Revolution Directors Cut

I'm not sure if this happened in your case, but it happened to me when I first played the game on PC. The hostages are automatically killed if you spend too much time at Sarif Industries prior to starting the mission. You have enough time to get your augments fixed and run over to the 'copter.
  10. Deus Ex: Human Revolution Directors Cut

Shoot the yellow gas canisters. If you're going for the pacifist achievement you will need to know that kills made in the tutorial are factored in. A bit annoying if you've just completed the game thinking that you've been a good person. Glad to hear that you're enjoying it so far. I haven't had much free lately, so I need to get back into it this weekend. The first Deus Ex is worth checking out (if your eyeballs can cope with the 1999-2000 era graphics).
  11. Wii U and 3DS Gaming Bargains

    The Wonderful 101 @ Currys/PC World, going for £24.97.
  12. Deus Ex: Human Revolution Directors Cut

I received my copy this morning. Finally fired up the Wii U an hour ago and got onto playing this. The presentation is excellent, it looks as if they've improved the graphics a little bit. The character models seem to feature more detail. I did notice some stuttering during pre-rendered cutscenes, it may have been due to some updates running in the background though. The actual in game performance is smooth. I am still battling with the controls, since I was used to playing the original version of the game with the trusty mouse plus keyboard combination. I haven't used the Gamepad extensively yet, a few hours later and I should be flying! Hoping to spend a bit more time playing this over the weekend.
  13. Deus Ex: Human Revolution Directors Cut

Good to see that you guys are taking the plunge. This was one of the best games released back in 2011... My copy is on its way, got the shipping update from ShopTo yesterday evening. I played this on the PC originally, I didn't acquire any of the DLC packs - so it'll be nice to play the 'complete package', and on a much bigger screen with cool Gamepad features.
  14. Deus Ex: Human Revolution Directors Cut

Get this, it's pretty cheap (on ShopTo & Amazon) considering that there is some controversy regarding its official RRP. Jump in before the price gets hiked up and support (what looks to be) a fantastic port. Here is an excellent playthrough:
  15. Project X Zone (Capcom x Sega x Namco Bandai)

I am still waiting for that medal. Yeah, it's strange that I kept going back to it despite the faults. I am a terrible completionist as well. I have not been tempted to start a New Game+. Fire Emblem Awakening needs some of my attention once again, I am nearing completion on that one. P.S: I've only just found the little poster that came in the game box. A nice little bonus if you appreciate having all of the character art styles in one place.
