I also never smoked and never will.
I wonder how people can do that to themselves, it harms your body and costs money at the same time but as long as I don't get the smoke blown into my face I doesn't really bother me.
With a camera (that part is very eyetoy like) that detects people/movement in a room 2 people stood parallel to the camera facing each other and the controllers would work as virtual swords. You could fight your opponent (=mate) and have to imagine the blade (since you only have the controller in your hands and don't know how long exactly the blade would be) or there is a blade add on. On screen your game would be displayed with blood and cool effects and a health bar and could also feature a replay function.
I think with patents and that uniqueness it's not possible to exactly copy the Nintendo controller (they must have learned from the past) and I think it's hard to make a similar thing that is not so similar that it isn't copying (and can someone tell me how Sony could also implement sticks without having patent issues).
I think the remote design is a bit strange but apart from that the whole idea is truly great (mouse like movement...) - and I only have read a summary yet - however I would have liked it if the "remote" was a bit more ergonomic; but I guess you have to hold it to be sure how it feels.
