How important is Switch 2 backwards compatibility for you?
Ashley replied to Ashley's topic in Nintendo Gaming
In fairness from a business perspective it's easier to sell remasters of Wii U titles as only about 10% of Switch owners owned the Wii U and about 9.87% of those people are die hard Nintendo fans anyway. -
Not that you filthy animals The general movie thread brought up the conversation of going to the cinema alone and then moved onto other things like holidays so thought it would make a good topic by itself. I often go to the cinema alone and quite enjoy using it as a place to relax and switch off unlike at home. I have a friend who may come but aligning availablity is what it is. Likewise I'll often go out to eat alone. Sometimes it's "I can't be bothered to cook" but I often travel alone so it's a necessity. I tend to just listen to a podcast while doing so. And when it comes to travelling, well let's just say a year ago today I arrived in Sydney for the first day of nearly 5 months of travelling alone. In fact, going anywhere with someone else now just doesn't work for me. Too much hassle. Travelling alone forces me to get out of my shell a bit more and try and chat to strangers. Sometimes in another language which is a challenge in itself.

This is an even duck

You're an odd duck. That's not news.

Okay now I've played past the tutorial (thus there's a time limit) and I see what you mean. There's still plenty of time at the moment but I could see the touchscreen being optimal.

Have started taking screenshots at the start of a game and looking at that in the gallery to plan my moves 😅

I just played with the pro controller and it's reasonable with that. The cursor has a little horse.

Anyone else playing this on the switch? Tried the demo as I never got round to it on the 3DS and will end up buying it.

Hey don't blame me. Someone years ago (pretty sure it was @Fierce_LiNk) edited my profile so I've got to roll with it. And of course there was that mudkip/UKIP mock advert on the tube years ago. -
Well this looks charming as heck

Maybe they'll shadow drop it in a few weeks time in the UK and then a few months time in America. -
When I saw you tagged me in this topic I thought "wow he remembered how much I liked World of Goo" but alas you just want me to do your bidding 😋

Me all week -
I actually liked that Legends let you complete the Dex through different play styles/interests. Been a few years but I seem to recall you could complete them through battles, catching and other stuff so it adds some variety that may be more aligned with your preferred play style.

A friend pointed out there's a Pokémon event (marketed as a Go) event taking place at the Empire State Building and Black and White is a homage(?) to New York.

Mudkip is a funny meme but it's not cute. It's got dead eyes, udders on its face and a you know what on top of its head. -

Personally I like cute Pokémon and after Johto there's not one of them for four more generations when it comes to the starters. And in that mix is Snivy who is a smug little fucker which is pretty much the opposite of cute. But I'll explain my feelings towards them all when each generation comes around. -

Totodile will always be my boy because I'm a water Pokémon fan. I'm glad we got another water himbo starter in the new generation too. However, I'll always feel a kinship with Cyndaquil because we have the same eyes. -
That is in fairness. I forgot it was announced earlier. I was thinking of the proper reveal alongside the road show stuff in January. My bad.
