Finally got round to defragging, virus scanning, spybot scanning and all that and still the same problems. Would a system restore be a useful thing?

Made a website today actually. Well I made it a while ago but gave it a new slap of paint for a different subject. Anyway, as the others have said, Webmonkey and such is your best bet. If theres a site and you're wondering "how do they do that?" you could view the source, as long as you don't steal it of course.

Think it was mostly known, but a newsbit about the show: http://www.tvsquad.com/2006/03/17/star-wars-the-tv-series-means-jar-jar-binks-once-a-week/

Reps go round the country (or their region anyway) to stores every once in a while and say "hey this is coming out soon" and tell about upcoming stuff and get you interested (if they're good). Never seen our Nintendo rep. Have seen the Xbox one, she gave me a beanie (albeit a 360 one) and told me to take lots of meds cause I was ill. And the Sony one wouldn't leave for hours and tried to arrange a paintball match with us for some reason. He also tried to pimp Lemmings (was a while ago) by saying about its game shareness, to which I replied "Like Nintendo have been doing for years?" He just said "yeah but this is better because..." blah blah blah. Considered being a rep because you get time to yourself, drive around and listen to music as much as you want and buy stuff from warehouses rather than shops. But I can't drive. And one of my friends is a rep and she gets a lot of shit from some stores because they expect her to personally be able to make as much stock as they want.

So basically they're mostly reps by the sound of it.

Well I didn't celebrate it. Im not Irish and not fond of alcohol so its really not my holiday. Spent it at a friends playing PS2. But happy St Patricks Day (all five minutes thats left) to all Irish forumites.

I kind of got most of that fields, but perhaps you can clear that up a bit in the morning

Cheers guys. May pick up a new hard drive as I was trying to format and only apparently had 11% on my computer spare, not good.

Im using the same method I used just over a year ago for a media project. That worked fine before. Unless you mean iPod like says "NO its protected" or something which sucks cause I own the DVDs, I just want to watch JD & Elliot get it on while im on the go.

First off, long time no see. Welcome back. Hmm I've not heard anything bad about it. Friend of a friend goes there and enjoys it, bout all I've had that hasn't come from the uni's mouth itself. Brum nightlife I've tasted. Im not a big clubber, I'd hit bars and stuff and obviously im not going to travel 20 miles for a pub at the moment. Birmingham definatly has advantages. Going to an open day early April and will ring up UCAS because apparently I can apply through 'Extra', but I can't login to Track (to apply through 'Extra') because my account is from last year.

Made me laugh at least. Source: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/03/15/star_wars_tv_spin_off/

Im doubtful (im also cynical, they could be related) but seems like the talk of the town (the town being t'internet) is that the PS3 launch details could be released tomorrow during a conference in Tokyo. Its just speculation at the moment but there is an event taking place in Tokyo tomorrow in regards to the PS3 which was originally only for games developers, but now journalists have been invited too. More info here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4805788.stm Im not good with the time clocks but tomorrow in Tokyo, say round midday (doesn't give a time) will be late tomorrow here right? We're ahead of Japan aren't we? Or are we behind, can never remember.

Seems to definatly be a folder thing because I was just ripping an episode of Scrubs. For some reason each vob file has the end of one episode for a few minutes, then most of the next episode. Anyway I ripped the start of the ep I wanted which was one file, saved it and went to test it and it buggered up. So I thought I'd at least convert the other file for the rest of the episode. Clicked the "save to" icon and it closed the program I was using. Annoying to say the least, I want to rip this episode!

Server went kaput. Back now. For future reference: http://www.revo-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3039

Well I suppose, but meh. As I said, im not hung up over it.

Yeah I have, and its not just videos. A few image folders are like it (which is a bitch as I was planing on photoshopping). Opened that in Photoshop. Both Photoshop and WMP I've been using for the last few hours, im sure its related to the folders. Ran a spybot checker and removed some stuff but still wonky. Will try the other things.

We were discussing it at work and we came to the conclusion its gonna be a minimum of £350, with all the crap they're shoving in just so they can say "look how much crap we have!"
-
Its not programs, its folders. Its just if the folder contains vids I've been trying to open them through Windows Media Player, rather than through the folder but still no joy. Anyway I'll try the other suggestions. Ta.

Believe me, it was far from my top priority. And I would never say "ZOMG". If it was that much of an issue to me I wouldn't even consider another uni. And Im not worried about sharing a showing, its just the practicality. Im an awkward sleeper and a shower before bed relaxes me. And cheers Colin, I'll look into it tomorrow.

Apparently a new 4 Kids (Pokemon & Yu-Gi-Oh) show.

People keep saying its been delayed, to me its been bought forward. I was anticipating another twelve months.

How easy is it to install a hard drive, is it just unscrew the case and put it in or is there more to it? Off topic but what about a fan too, my computer could do with another.

I have no idea what facebook is but I say, cause she may wonder why and I don't want to seem like im spreading her name round everywhere. Makes me seem...weird. And she only thinks im odd, weird is a big step.

Cheers, maybe I just got it wrong.
