Fighting Ridley turns me urrrrnnnn.

The first game I ever owned personally was Super Mario Bros. on the NES. But my mother owned a Game Boy and I played Tetris and Super Mario Land. I had also previously played Metroid and many other NES classics round a babysitters house.

She has seven albums under her belt and each one very different. Her 8th album, as yet untitled, is due for release next year. Anyone into her? Or just me?

haha. I'm in the middle of listening to Without You I'm Nothing. A very 4AM album. Defo check out Meds. The first single, "Because I Want You," reached like number 12 in the UK charts but was not a good representation of the album.

To be honest, unless I was talking to real people I'd feel pretty stupid talking into a headset simply to move things in a game. The Mario Party microphone was all right, because that was used with friends. One reason I didn't buy Nintendogs was because I didn't want to have to yell, "SIT" on the bus.

Unless you had it on your lap it would have to be pretty sensitive. In which case it might pick up other background noise.

I've seen the bands name mentioned in various threads, just wondering how many people were into them. Their new album, "Meds," is, in my opinion, their best since the cult classic, "Without You I'm Nothing". They are amazing live, although through moving to another country I haven't managed to catch them on their new tour yet. They are definitely a band you can relate more to once you've dabbled with drugs.

How could you hold both a DS and the Wii controller at the same time?

I might buy the GC version simply because if it's got 100+ hours of gaming, waving a Wiimote around for that length of time would hurt.

But to be honest, a lot of people won't bother with demo's. I certainly wouldn't, even as an avid Nintendo fan. You could download games to the GBA, but you lost it when turning it off. If it's the same with the DS then there's not that much more to offer.

I don't want any proof from you. You were simply insinuating you had some pre-cognitive ability and you could the PS3 was going to flop. But getting back to the main topic, I don't think many "non-gamers" or "softcore gamers" are going to bother with any sort of connetivity. It very rarely gives you anything worthwhile.

I don't care about the tip, middle of bottom of the iceberg. If the games are fun I want to play them. Simple as.

Kids are a very hard market to a certain extent. If you play a 2D game in front of them and look like you're having fun they want to play. Otherwise they'd go for the most recent looking game, seeing as they don't know any better. I tried to teach my nephew that graphics don't mean squat but children don't understand.

I was actually arguing against the fact he said the PS3 will "flop". He has no proof, it's simply what he wants.

I personally think the more games the better. There'll always be some 8 year old who wants a game who doesn't know any better.

Why should you care about Playstation being on top? Surely all that should matter is what you enjoying playing? Not what's more popular...

I wouldn't mind if it was very similar to Melee with just added characters and stages.

I hope this game will live up to all the hype.
