IT.IS.DONE! Man, what a challenge those Ultimate stages are. I think I know the final one like the back of my hand due to how many times I had to repeat the thing.

Taking my switch outside of the house for the first time later and realised I forgot to buy a case. Headphone case to the rescue. If it fits, I Switch.

I'm going to make some food, will be back around 9 for team battle or in pairs. We were unlucky in the last game on Moray Towers. A team which were clearly a unit, had the same names, all at level 50 or there abouts and we lost by only 5 or so %. Some class games lads. Absolutely destroyed some teams.

I feel like we did loads in our house since we got it half a year ago. All the rooms have had some work done in them, some have been completely transformed (bathroom and garage). The kitchen has had the least work done (only painted the walls), but that's because we hope to extend in the future and just get a new kitchen then. We're getting someone in one Monday to fix an issue with our laminate (thanks dad for not listening to me and not leaving enough of an expansion gap ). Then I think we'll tackle the staircase; ideally I would like to have wood cladding put on it but am struggling to find anyone that does it! It's like a neverending task list, owning a house. But then I prefer this over renting where issues never get fixed because of shitty letting agencies that don't inform your landlord!

Man, you can really feel the difficulty ramp up when you win a few games. Some of those games against the 2000+ power level players are insane. Way tougher than A ranked battle modes. I love the new shifty station level for the splatfest, the one on the last one was pants. Also, snipers annoy the hell out of me. I have someone on my friend's list that has already played this game for 350 hours. That's 10 hours a day almost. Let that sink in. I will never be an elite player at this game. /random thoughts.

Perfection. Totally understandable, but I suck at killing people, so cheating is my way to go when I get annoyed of dying all the time with a roller.

Katie totally wrecked me in that match. Always there, ready to own me. Still great games though! Won more than we lost, and it was strangely more fun than usual. Nice feeling part of a team. Next up is the 9pm Dazzybee group if anyone still wants more N-Europe representing. Might be a good idea to have your shirt fresh and scrubbed to minimise downtime. @dazzybee, @Glen-i, martinist, 1 open slot. Priority will be given to those who haven't played yet. Hell of a victory in that last match. We completely turned it around in the last 30 seconds.

I don't think I'll invest this much...just going to watch a video explaining the timeline and lore and read a summary.

Yeah, I plan on getting the season pass. I'm happy throw more money at this game. For the challenges I had to change my team setup. All the way through the game I was using Luigi and Rabbid Peach but they just didn't cut it for the Ultimate stages. I ended up using Rabbid Luigi and Rabbid Mario. The Ultimate stages are mainly about being able to: 1. Keep everyone's health up to a decent level 2. Dispatch groups of enemies quickly to either clear a path or for the objective itself. Both Rabbid Luigi and Mario have Vampire weapons. Also, with R. Luigi also having a Vampire slide move, and a large movement area, this comes in handy to use just to inflict the status so someone else could get back some HP. This helps keeps everyone's health up, so that sorts out the first issue. The second issue can be tackled by R. Mario. These challenges have a crazy amount of enemies to deal with so what I would do was to use Mario's oversight/shoot when he sees a target moving ability in conjunction with R. Mario's draining enemies in ability. This draws them in and allows Mario to pick a couple of them off. After that, depending on the positioning of enemies, I would either use R. Mario's shotgun, which does insane damage to multiple enemies at close range, or use his slide move which allows for 3 attacks but the range of impact on it is nuts, hitting numerous enemies who are close by. Oh, bear in mind that R. Mario's slide move can hit your own team, as can his shotgun. I found it best to either use him first to clear a path or allow the other two members to take their turns and move them well out of the way. I hope all of this makes sense and helps you out.

Seriously, once you move out and settle you will love it. Having your own place is the best!

This England game is shit, so far.

Wow. The speed of this isn't too shocking looking at the gc and wii support once the next generation launched... but with those two consoles, the online wasn't really all that present. The Wii was more palatable given the circumstances too... but.. yeah this really affects my decision making process about how worth while getting a switch may be. Maybe switch will be better supported as it is paid for, but who knows. Maybe this is simply to make segregating the paid for online services from unpaid services more easily? I certainly hope basic online functionality (ha.. I know it already was fairly basic!) remains for the most part...

Square Enix's TGS 2017 line-up has been announced, which includes a Project Octopath Traveller presentation on September 23rd at 09:55 JST. Definitely one I'm excited for, the art style looks great!

House update from me. Our mortgage finally got approved yesterday! We've really had to jump through hoops with NatWest to make it happen, providing all sorts of documentation to get it sorted. Didn't have to do anywhere near this much for our current property, but this one is more expensive so it kind of makes sense. The flooring has been picked in the new build, having a crap laminate for free downstairs provided by Bellway. Yesterday we found some porcelain wood effect tiles on sale in Wickes that we want for the whole downstairs, including kitchen, hall, livig room etc. £5 a box for 11 tiles. The whole box covers one square metre. For the entire downstairs its cost us £200 for the tiles. Only nipped up on the off chance to get a single wall tile to see if it would work in the kitchen and saw them! 3 trips back and to home later and they're all in our garage waiting to go in the new house. Seems silly ripping up new laminate that they're putting in for us, but it's not our taste (it was the best one of a bad bunch), and they wouldn't laminate the kitchen or downstairs toilet too so that will be lino which again, is not what we want. So that'll be one of the first jobs we get done. Completion shouldn't take too long now. NatWest have already valued our new build and searches are done, just waiting for that to happen on our sold house by the buyers which is happening Wednesday. Can't believe it!
