  1. An update to F-zero 99 is due tonight/tomorrow: Nintendoeverything had a summary of it:
  2. F-Zero Maximum Velocity coming to NSO couple of days:
  3. General Movie Thread

I also saw Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire yesterday and really enjoyed it. Granted, my opinion is going to be a little biased, but I think its a very enjoyable film. Most of the jokes got a laugh out of me and every funny scene landed. The audience in the cinema i was in seemed to enjoy the film just as much as I did. This film was almost the Ghostbusters sequel i wanted since i saw the second movie back in 1989. It also felt a little like the Real Ghostbusters Cartoon at times, which worked pretty well in making it fun to watch. Kumail Nanjiani and James Acaster were both stand outs for me, it's a shame that Acaster didn't get more screen time. I enjoyed seeing the original Ghostbusters and i like how they are a part of what is going on in a very casual/natural way. My only issues is that the movie seems to rush things in the final 10-15 minutes and maybe that whole part of the movie should have been longer/or they should have cut some of the stuff in the middle of the movie so they had more room/time at the end. I was not a fan of:
  4. The Disney Thread

I'll try and watch it over the weekend, I'm seeing Ghostbusters Frozen Empire tomorrow
  5. Splatoon 2

I was crazy enough to do this, back when I played Splatoon 2 regularly I enjoyed this game so much i wanted to do/unlock everything in it but half way through playing the same stages over and over again, It did start to feel a little tedious. I've not played Splatoon 2 in a good couple of years (although your post just now inspired me to fire it up and play one game!) and it's so much fun. I got my fill of the series between this and the first game, so I never felt any reason to buy Splatoon 3. Although recently I was thinking about it.
  6. Princess Peach Showtime (March 22 2024)

Yeah, i found that out while making the final cake and went back and redid the stage afterwards to collect everything lol
  7. Princess Peach Showtime (March 22 2024)

I had a play through of the demo last night, it seems very very easy but i enjoyed it. But yeah, there is something a bit flat about the music and the sound effects. I'll wait for the reviews
  8. Princess Peach Showtime (March 22 2024)

There's a Demo for this game now up on the eshop
  9. My Nintendo ( Club Nintendo Successor )

That seems like an unnecessary obstacle to put in front of getting avatars. Especially as you never had to do that before. The Animal Crossing stipulation seems extra ridiculous. On a side note, one of the Super Mario World avatars they put up today is just the same as one of the free ones already on the Profile menu without cropping:
  10. Snowboard Kids was a lot of fun. I'd love that game and it's sequel to come to NSO
  11. The Best Gaming Music Ever.

That’s pretty great, It sounds like something from Jet Set Radio. I’ve never played Pocket Card Jockey before and I would never have assumed it would have music like that
  12. The Wrasslin' thread

Funny enough I've been doing the same but for the late 80's/early 90's era of WWF. I subscribed to the Network and have been watching through episodes of Prime Time Wrestling from 1989 and it's fantastic. One of my favorite moments I've caught so far, is Roddy Piper in one studio screaming at Rick Rude in another studio via a video feed. They threaten each other so much they decide to meet up, but end up going to each others location at the same time: (should be timestamped at 22 minutes in)

  14. It’s the most important feature for me. I don’t think I would buy a switch 2 if it doesnt have backwards compatibility, or if I did buy it, I would do the same as @Dcubedmentioned in his post and use my switch 2 for first party software only
  15. Endless Ocean: Luminous

I used to enjoy playing the older games on the Wii. I remember there was a feature on them to play MP3's off of the SD card, so I made a little playlist of water themed music from other video games, like the water music from Donkey Kong Counry and Dire Dire Docks from Mario 64. It should be interesting to see how online mode works.
